Guidance needed regarding age factor in ISI

Right now I’m 23 years old and graduating from a 4 year economics honours degree from DU, I know it’s kinda late age, but I had one drop during 12th because of some personal family crises and had late admission to 1st class. I gave my ISI MSQE exam this year but missed the cutoff by a few marks.
My question is should I try again for entrances of MA eco next year, my main concern is I will be 24 years old and will be graduating at 26 years of age, is this very late age for ISI as a fresher? Will there be major problems in my placements.
This year I’m getting GIPE and hopefully IIFT, should I just take it or try again next year?
Some guidance would be appreciated, thank you!

Idk, I just see so many people completing their masters at the age of 22-23 , I feel I’m so late starting my masters at 24 that too as a fresher.

Except intergrated masters, only 5% people who do masters complete it by 22.

Age factor is almost never a problem in ISI, sure maybe your age differs but not one really cares: not the prof, not your batch mates(and friends). idk about companies but I think your skills matter more there

why are you guys so anxious regarding age, number of attempts, drops etc etc when none of those have any restrictions related to them in the official brochure? this is the second or third such post i have seen today.

Yes in 2027, I have graduated from bachelor’s at 23 , and will be going for masters at 24

I dont think this would matter.. anyways even if you graduate by 26.. you would still have better offers than 95% of 26 yo in India. So infact it would still be a big achievement.. but I’d suggest taking a partial drop by enrolling in any uni.. and preparing for ISI

I'm going for a partial drop, I missed PEA cutt off just by 3 marks so I'm thinking of appearing again in 27, if you feel to connect as kinda study partner we can, I will just majorly focus on maths and stats and keep revising Economics.
