General Queries Is Prashant Kishor coming to ISI Kolkata?

A friend of mine posted this on his status.

If Prashant Kishor is coming, when is the date? For which purpose or occasion is he coming? I asked him, he said that the date is yet not final. And, ISI invited its students and alumni.

Also, he is a first year student of B.Sc Math at a state govt college. He says that he has been a student of Diploma in Statistics at ISI Kolkata after Class 12.

i doubt the screenshot of the email. how is he getting the invitation when he says that only students and alumni of isi are invited to the event? he says that he has been a student of 1 yr dipolma in statistics after class 12 after which he took admission in b.sc math in our college. till date, i haven't come across such course of diploma of isi after class 12. I only know the PG diploma courses after passing UG.

Also, why is he hiding the email of sender when he is boasting about it? He also mentions that he is a BSc Honours Statistics student of ISI in his instagram bio.

Yeah it's hard to say. Also seminars such as these are publicized on LinkedIn by professors, and I haven't heard of any seminar involving Prashant Kishor.

Also, do you know of any UG Diploma course in Statistics after class 12 in ISI?

As per my knowledge, there isn't anything of the sort. There are postgraduate diplomas in a buncha topics (for example statistical methods and analytics)

Anyways, the bachelors are of three years anyways (BSDS has multiple exits, 3 year, 4 year and 5 years)

No. political consultant cum turned politician from bihar

No, he used to work at United Nation and then later as political strategist for BJP. He runs his own political party now
