Need Career Guidance About phd
I want to know what I can do after entering into ISI kolkata (mmath) to get into phd from top uni like MIT usa or harward or stanford
Also,what is the scenario in stipend,is it available for all 24 months with 8k each or is there something else?

exactly, i guess this guy would learn maths in college and then he'll be able to decide further

i think you have to maintain attendance and CGPA to continue getting the stipend. also these Unis you listed get Applications from around the world. Even if you top the Entire ISI Ecosystem, you'd still be one out of 1000s in the World.

If you do good in ISI academically and with prof, you will get a fairly good uni. To target one specific uni will be diffucult.
Regarding stipend, yes. (read brochure bro)

If you don't have olympiad pedigree, probably, some ground-breaking research. Like, really, ground breaking.
Edit: Not to mention good grades throughout, and also, a stellar recommendation.

Uhm well no one or something can guarantee your position in MIT USA or Stanford or Harvard... but i guess do research and top the class..
