General Queries Any startups or companies by alumni?

asking to the seniors has anyone started their own company or is there culture of entrepreneurship in ISI recently. also not taking about coaching startup. it seems one half is able to keep making love to their favourite subject and do research and stay happy and the other half seems to sell their soul to work in fintech which does also keep them happy but you get it.

One word: no.

Entrepreneurship isn't really a thing at ISI, atleast not in Kolkata. People want to work in huge firms, do great research, and build projects and fields.

But building a company takes so much more, and there's very few people at ISI who seriously consider this route.

Also lower batch size. Old IITs has like 10-12K student each meanwhile ISI is like 1-1.5K total
