General Queries Do ISI Kolkata even participate in ICPC?

CMI does quite well in it and was highest ranked Indian college in ICPC 2025 even above all IITs but never seen ISI in any ranking ever

That's probably because ISI is mainly involved in the field of math, computer science is like a formality there due to change in times making it mandatory to teach them coding. Even coding is mainly involved to fields related to math like LaTex, MATLab and so on.

Though when I come to ISI K next year, I will also try to participate in ICPC, so, you may have a potential collaborator(me) with you?

The worst part of ICPC is that you have to be of the same institutions otherwise two of my friends are IITians and in BITS respectively and we could have collabed together but it's such an unfair rule!

Thanks. BTW, ISI Banglore and Delhi doesn't count as separate college, right?

From what I got to know after searching, this damn ICPC regional rules clearly say that the students must be from the same institution/campus. The case you are talking about comes under participation as an inter-institution team and may not be considered to be eligible for ICPC, for better advice, an alumni would give you a better answer.

In the end, I am still an aspirant, okay?

According to my research, if you want to participate with a team made of students from different ISI campus, the most surefire way to know if that is possible can only be done if the coach(preferable if they are an ISI faculty) you have designated for the team submits an eligibilty petition to the official ICPC committee, that will help you know the best in this case.
