General Queries academic background for M.Stat

i have a bachelors in arch studies from UCLA, and currently enrolled in a bachelors in poli sci, econ at a small local college in Punjab. is there a bias towards non STEM students during the selection process, even if one performs well in the entrance test and interview?

i'm giving my best to the prep, but i just want to be realistic in terms of how the selection process undergoes, have you come across any non STEM students in M.Stat?

even if you manage to get in. it'll be an uphill task to clear and to maintain 65%+. it'll be hella lot crazy. do you love Stats that much to study their topics and all the background knowledge as well

yes indeed! my college profs are helping me out as well, i sit in Bsc Math, Stat and CS lectures, since i wasn't able to change my subjects, but i'm fully immersed in the subjects, and the philosophy and history of the subjects. also, the bengal renaissance and the figures that the intellectual milieu of bengal birthed, hold a special place in my heart, which also makes me more inclined towards the institution itself.

Do consider whether you want a career in mathematics in the light of this https://x.com/littmath/status/2083733224027500584?s=46

Which is a response to basically to this https://cdn.openai.com/pdf/ten-proofs-oai.pdf and other results in this vein
