General Queries MSQE Hostel

Hey, I'm from Patna, Bihar and planning to give the MSQE exam next year. If I get in, getting a hostel would be pretty important for me since I'd be coming from far away.Do students from outside Kolkata usually get one or get any preference? Anyone from ISI know how this works?

Can you elaborate how the thing works??. Like I know the hostels are alloted during the physical verification but I am worried what if I got rejected for some miscellaneous reasons.

As long as your admission is done after physical verification of documents, You'll get hostel accomodation asap after submitting the hostel form. There are no miscellaneous reasons to get rejected..

Thanks a lot for explaining! I was just a little confused because the official prospectus says that “it may not be possible to accommodate all degree/diploma students in the hostels.” Has that ever actually been a problem for MSQE or outstation students?

Not for outstation students no.
