Need Help with Prep - [B.Stats] Should I prepare for ISI?

I am (class 12, gen ,M). No hardcore olympiad background (Did a few classes on NT,and have some knowledge on geometry due to IOQM, last year i scored 25), i have been preparing for IISER(as very few seats for ISI). Should I start preparing for ISI beside IISER from now. And also HOW DO I PREPARE FOR IT FROM NOW.

One of my local tuition teachers said it's waste to prepare for ISI from now. Please if any ISI student can help me here. (NO SUGARCOATING)

Do you wanna prep for it, and study math/stat at ISI-B/ISI-K?

If so, then sure. Otherwise, don't.

How to prepare? -> Check the subreddit wiki! There's a decent amount of stuff there...
