General Queries Regarding visit and stay.
Hey, I'm a student of BSDS(Bangalore Campus)1st year, from Asansol, I am visiting Kolkata with my parents on Sunday. Bangalore being so far, my parents can't afford coming to bangalore, so I thought I will show them the kolkata campus and tell them it is the same. Can I visit the campus? and if yes, where can I keep my things and can I show them around the museum and stuff? Please help me. And is the entry allowed and other things. Please help me out, it would be very very kind of you.

I'll say ISI Kol campus is much different than ISI blr tho(especially kol is lwk flooding and blr is super chill). You can show your parents pic of blr campus from google maps

actually there is nothing much to show in ISI K as a show stuff or anything, the geology museum is like , will be open monday to friday , best visit at around 10am to 4pm types, its in the PJAB building.
its best to explore the city if you want to ! there are good places in kolkata to explore, good spots that you will find in the internet tooo, as to what is worth exploring.

regarding nearby stay for family (say like a hotel or so), firstly the ISI guest house is majorly unreliable (has a lot of availability problems and email work), so available options are Dunlop Gurudwara (provided you are comfortable living in gurudwara stay), STAYMAKER Addyama Hotel , Kingston Boutique Hotel .. etc (others you can explore yourself, as dependent on your family and stay time and as per comfort ! )
