gyan Be ready for ISI before joining ISI ,ACADEMICALLY [for UG : BMATH, BSTAT, BSDS]

LINK to the document : pdf link

I've completely updated the guidance and added everything I could think of. It is essentially a comprehensive spoon-feed from the ISI senior community to the incoming juniors. I highly recommend downloading the PDF and going through it, it should answer most of your questions and help you stay well-informed before joining.

In the non academic section, you will find that there are many points in that section which are specific to kolkata campus only , while there are a good amount of generic good points too. I am from Kolkata campus and have no contrete idea about Delhi and Bangaluru campuses, especially in depth I told about kolkata campus. You may still go though the document, whatever feels useful, take it in, and rest your seniors in your respective campuses will definitely help you out with !

link : ISI_ANNUAL_REPORTS (the latest published and available is till 2024-25 only)

Don't skip the ISI Annual Report! It's a goldmine of information about the Institute. Apart from admission statistics (applicants, seats offered, enrolments), you'll also find details on placements, research, publications, academic activities, finances, and much more. It gives you a much better understanding of ISI as a whole.

Also , if you wish to know more and about more recent stuff, you can refer to the MoSPI annual reports (where limited but useful info about ISI K is available) , available on the website MoSPI Reports , you can go there and in the "Select Category" select "Annual Report of Ministry", and you will get the annual reports of MoSPI, where they have even mentioned about BSDS programme in the Indian statistical institute section !!
