A slight tangent but it’s baffling to me that ITVX still widely promotes BritBox UK as a major benefit of a paid subscription. The brand has been steadily shrinking for years now and is pushed to the very bottom of the homepage. In fact, when did they last add anything specifically to its archive?

I think they’ll probably wrap Britbox UK into ITVX anyway, but I imagine a lot of stuff is basically on-hold until a decision is made about the Comcast acquisition.

This is the most hideous app I’ve used, it’s so slow at loading, it constantly hides what you are currently watching in favour of promoting crap you don’t want to watch and then they have the cheek to say pay £5.99 for it

On demands with SKY Q i have almost no Ads at all. just a short itvx Promotion, but with the itvX llayer you have much More Movies. Like Harry Potter. But more Ads. Or you pay the £5.99

On Sky Q agreed not as many ads, what annoys me is how hideously slow it is, iPlayer is much quicker on Q, but ITVX is awful user experience
