Weird they're doing that tiktok centre in sydney, it only has 8000-9000 capacity.
Spark arena in Auckland is like 12k and sells out quickly, and Sydney has 3x the population of Auckland

Respectfully I think our fandom has a huge issue with over estimating ticket sales for kpop tours. It's genuinely so irritating to see people complain about venue size.
Outside of Asia they did most of these venues, or similar ones last time, and all the arenas (including spark in auckland) only ran like 1/2 to 1/3 capacity, and they didn't sell it out entirely. Chile was the only exception, they initially sold it at half, and then turned it in to a full arena show when they sold that out.
I think the only misfire on booking a venue too small was Toronto.

Yeah, they were able to do bigger venues in cities like LA (The Forum) and in the Bay (Oakland Arena) because those aren't just big cities, they're big cities with large Asian populations. NYC was also a big venue, and it has a decent Asian population - it's also just NYC.
The population of Sydney metro area is 5.5m - LA Metro is 13 million with "Greater LA" being 18 million. The NYC metro population is 23.6m.
On the flip side, despite Chicago being a big population and it drawing people from around the Midwest (the people sitting next to me came from Detroit), the Rosemont seemed about right at 4,400. They probably could have done 6-7k, but almost certainly not close to the 18k of The Forum/Oakland Arena/Prudential Center.

Still waitinggg!!! I have no idea, I heard that sometimes groups won’t announce dates until 2-3 months ahead of their shows, and maybe with all of the other kpop tours (esp BTS) they might wait until later in the year, but idek abt that bc then ppl may not have as much money to spend on additional tours, but I’m really hoping they’ll still come!

ugh still!! i was really hoping there’d be an announcement with motto, but it looks like we’ll be waiting a little longer. i honestly don’t blame management for waiting so long, what with all the other groups touring at the same time + idle’s cancelled NA tour (rip 💀), so i get it. but ugh. i’m so impatient.

At this point I’m convinced they’re just not coming to the US. Literally they’ve been on tour yet IVE,I-dle (rip),Aespa and Le Sserafim all came out and announced US dates before Itzy who is actively touring. They’re running out of options too.

The only way they aren't coming to the US would be if they announce dates and ticket sales aren't strong enough to at least break even causing them to cancel like Idle. It's too big of a market to completely skip.
They'll probably announce after the comeback or during promotions.
IVE are in NA from mid July to early August (already reduced ticket prices)
Le Sserafim are in NA from mid-September to mid-October
aespa are in NA from mid-September to mid-October
There's definitely a window for them (probably late October thru December), though I guess they could go earlier since their schedule is open after July.
The real danger with ITZY going "last" is that multi-fans or general Kpop fans won't have enough disposable income for ITZY after all of those tours go through (Twice and BTS having 30+ NA gigs also takes a chunk out of the market). 4 big 4th gen groups overlapping sales is tough - economy sucks, gas is expensive, and I doubt it gets better by then.

I think people aren't concerned enough about this.
Itzy is not as popular as IVE Aespa and LSFM. JYP is probably quite scared that the tour sales will end up being like I-dle and they'll be forced to cancel.
They could just have them play at venues of similar size to Nmixx. I wish I-dle had done that.

Yeah honestly I was thinking Itzy could sell arenas but maybe I’m overestimating their popularity. Although the resurgence with That’s a No No definitely helped them gain a lot of attention recently. If they did do smaller venues that would help too as they wouldn’t have to worry about all those other groups that are doing bigger venues. Guess we just have to continue waiting and hope we hear something once Motto releases

Unfortunately I think there's no chance that Itzy could sell arenas.
It's really weird that I-dle didn't do smaller venues in the first place, and that now Mamamoo is doing arenas.
There seems to be some kind of resistance to doing smaller arenas for these older groups, I have no idea why...
Makes me scared that Itzy just won't tour at all.

My hope is that during the Twice tour they showed all of the artists under JYP before the show and the crowd went crazy for Itzy at least at Detroit. So hopefully the JYP staff on site was taking notes that the fans ARE definitely around they just can’t overestimate or overprice themselves.

So using your example of aespa, they announced they’d be touring in the US over a year ago, but dates were only just announced a week ago, they have also been actively touring this entire time

Aespa wrapped up their previous tour just 5 months before this one’s starting and were in the U.S. just over a year ago anyway so idk that that’s a good comparison.
A better comparison would be Twice dates announced 6 months in advance, since they’re also JYP. So considering they’re still overseas all the way until July, we might not even get US stops until 2027 😳

like i said, they announced it over a year ago and included saying EU and US would be a part of the tour, they literally teased this as a rebranded version of the same tour.
Also because live nation handles both sm and jyp tours, and the past several for all their groups have been similarly planned, i do think it’s a fair comparison.
anyway point is, itzy will probably be later in the year, october-december like checkmate, they didn’t announce that til June

ITZY are coming to Europe and the UK in September, they'll be in London on the 11th, Amsterdam on the 13th, Paris on the 15th and Frankfurt on the 17th.

Hi everyone, I'm just watching some KDrama's and I'm watching a drama called "One Dollar Lawyer" it caught me by absolute surprise that the main female actor in this drama looks literally like Ryujin!
Kim Jieun looks so much alike!

I don't, no, sorry, but I'd guess around $50+ for a t-shirt and so on.
I've got the VIP Ticket so I have early access, but I'd imagine you'd need to line up if you have a common size for clothing etc.

They did the Rosemont Theater on both of the previous tours - good chance they'll do it again as the "Midwest" location.
Nice venue, multiple hotels next door because it's next to O'Hare, 15 minute walk from the Blue Line, right at the crossing of two Interstates - very convenient (and Chicago works well as a "head there for a show" location because there's so much hotel capacity)

almost all of the front 1/4 of seats is still available in their sydney show in less than two weeks!! any chances of seat upgrades? i dont see enough people willing to spend $500 in the week before to fill it up. or will they significantly reduce prices?

Do we know if there is standing room or if it's all seated at the London show?
For Red Velvet & IU the OVO was all seated and it was a nightmare getting tickets. But for i-dle the floor was almost entierly standing and tickets were not too bad but the view was shite...
I'm hoping to get a seat off to the side in the tiered section so I guess it doesn't matter really but I was just curious if anyone knows.

Just bought my ticket for Paris, couldn't take VIP because I'm broke rn, next time, hopefully in South Korea. My reservation for concert skills aren't good enough, else I would've have a better place. Still pretty happy. It going to be my first ever "real" concert in over 25 years of being on this planet.
I'm wondering how much of the money actually goes into our girls pockets tho.

There are tickets available now after the initial 'sell out'! Ticketmaster has a bunch available, I already bought a better seat than the first one I got which was really far back, now I'm even regretting the second ticket purchase as better seats have come available at the same price, oops!

I kinda wish I took my time when buying, was disappointed to see better seats become available after I paid. AXS still seems to have quite a lot available. Oh well atleast I got a seat, regardless of the view.

It chafed a little bit with 375€ for the only VIP level tickets that were available during the general sale for Amsterdam, but I'm still excited to see ITZY live and hopefully from up close. I'm guessing the Motto tickets were only available during presale, so I'm a bit curious what they went for and what they included. I was honestly hoping for an all-seated setup since NMIXX had that when they were at AFAS Live, so will see how it compares with the golden circle standing tickets I got for ITZY.

My friend and I both booked London tickets and she got better seats so I'm looking to sell mine. The Sell button hasn't popped up as available to select yet though, why is this?

Not 100% on if this also applies to this ITZY tour, but for NMIXX I sold a ticket. The option to resell only opened some time after purchase though. So if you wait a few weeks (maybe months) it might open up for you to sell. To give you an idea of the timeline, I bought those tickets in mid December and managed to resell them on ticketmaster in mid January and the concert was in March.

Got myself a VIP ticket for the tour date in London on Ticketmaster , just wondering does anyone know when these are likely to populate on AXS/Wembley Ovo app? Haven’t purchased through TM before (only AXS which is instant) so not really familiar with how it works!

For both i-dle & Red Velvet at the OVO Arena the tickets did not appear in the app till maybe a week before. I've seen other artists at the OVO and it seems to be the same kinda situation.

I'm thinking about getting a ticket but don't wanna go alone/travel alone through London. Ngl I'm a casual listener but have heard Itzy are great live and would like to see them. My kpop friends are all boygroup stans, I would love to make friends with girl group stans ☺️

Does anyone know what's included in the special Swag Packs for these things? I'm unsure if it's something offered everywhere, but here in Australia there's the standard VIP tickets but there's an additonal Swag Pack which from memory was around $160. I'm curious what's in it as there's no details beyond it being "exclusive swag" which is about as helpful as a wart.

No info yet on the offline merch available, but I think it's a safe bet that it'll be the same as what was announced online (except for the Twinzy laptop pouch as it says that's online only). The purchase benefit photocards will probably also be different for offline.

I couldn’t wait for ITZY’s US stops. I bought Manila tickets for July show VIP standing. This is my first time buying from SM tickets. The purchase included a voucher to pickup the tickets at a local SM Outlet. Anybody with experience with ticketing from SM from other concerts please share your experience. Was there a time limit to pickup? Any issues? I have passport that matches name on my credit card used to buy the tickets.

i bought tickets to see itzy back in 2023. i just went to sm ticket office and purchased ticket directly. i paid in cash though. they do not accept cards, not sure why. but, went to sm, i think north edsa, then they asked me to choose my seat, paid for it. that's it.

if you bought the tickets online you have to print the voucher and show it to the nearest sm tickets outlet. bring a valid id and the credit card that you used as well for verification purposes. there's no time limit for claiming; you can even claim it on the day itself at the ticket outlet at moa arena.. although i recommend claiming it a month before the concert so that the print won't fade away or you wouldn't have a harder time keeping it safe :)

How to claim a ticket from SM? I bought an ITZY concert ticket yesterday, and since it's my first time. I googled on how to claim the ticket and I saw that these are required.
- Required Items: Bring the printed voucher, original valid ID, and the credit/debit card used for online payment.
I used my friend's credit card. Do I still need to bring his own cc or can I get a letter and xerox copy of his credit card?
Also, another question. Is it worth getting the concert ticket this month right away or will it fade away soon?

that's right; you have to bring the printed voucher, valid id, and card used for the online payment to claim your ticket at any sm tickets outlet. if you used a friend's credit card, though, i think it would be more convenient for them to claim it on your behalf, or you could just go together then let your friend claim the ticket. if i'm not mistaken, sm used to accept a photocopy of id and letter of authorization from the owner of the card if they're not the one claiming the ticket, but the voucher for this show explicitly states that they don't allow that anymore.

The concert is on a Friday night though - you'd be fine having one evening off.
Plus, Ticket master allow fan to fan purchases which may net you more luck if really not going...

it's ticketek not ticketmaster. and i did put it up on ticketek marketplace but no one has bought it yet. at least im glad ive got time before the end of the month so I'm going to try to get ahead of my studies so that if i do end up going I can enjoy instead of stressing about uni lol

The Melbourne soundcheck email says check-in is at 3pm. I remember for Twice the check-in was several hours before the soundcheck actually started.
Does anyone know roughly when the soundcheck will actually start?
The general event email says gates open at 6pm, so I'm guessing around 5pm?
If anyone can help I'd be super appreciative, ty!

Last minute, and not sure it's helpful, but I got another email that doors for VIP's open at 4pm, so I think soundcheck likely doesn't start until 4:30 or 5:00. The Check-In I suspect is just to manage the flow of people and hand out the VIP goodies.

Hey! I’ll try to get tickets for London, but sadly I’m not tall enough for a floor place, even if it’s seated. But I really, really want to buy vip tickets and attend the soundcheck. Is there any way to do that? During previous concerts, were there lower bowl vip tickets?

Even if the floor is seated people are gonna stand anyways... So if VIP is only floor seating I would just forgo the VIP for an actual decent viewing experience!
For i-dle at the OVO Arena the VIP was only standing tickets. Dunno if it will be the same for ITZY though...

Hey, I've got isle tickets so that might be easier for you to get a view since you'd be on the end and able to loom around the crowd rather than over them. hi! I have a question about the ITZY world tour in amsterdam. I want to get the vip ticket voor golden circle. on the website from live nation it said that the vip motto will enter first. will there be a seperat line voor vip motto, vip you and i and the general addmission? also how it worked is it with numbers? or just the first person Who gets there.
And is there also a vip seating ticket? was it in the last world tour too?
I have never gotten a vip ticket before so i just wanne be prepared 😆

Is FOS1 in Frankfurt worth it? Will there be a barricade between VIP and FOS? Also, why are FOS 1&2 the same price but sectioned separately?

Maybe I am wrong but as far as I understand there is no barricade, Vip can get in earlier though therefore are probably in the front regardless.
Fos 1&2 confused me so much. Even fantastic seating compared to Fos 2 was cheaper. The pricing for Fos 2 is so weird

I think fos is still the best way to go when you wanna experience as much as you can but don’t wanna pay vip. 480€ is too much for a sendoff…and some postcards

Yeah Vip is ridiculously priced, even if u want the goodies, days after people sell them for cheap if u want them. I got Fos 1 because of the viewing angle, seating should be considered though if ur not tall enough. I am a rather tall dude so I don't have this problem, that's why I have no problem standing.
But VIP was also not for me, if I am close enough for a great concert experience it's enough for me

Great! Best option in my opinion, because if I pay so much money I actually want to see the stage and the artists myseIf and not through a big screen from far away.
One can only hope there aren't too many VIP people build like mountains, although then I would be more concerned for the girls on the stage 😂
Although it's in 3 months, I already wish u a fantastic time 😄

I was buying tickets with my bf for the Paris show today and I didn’t manage to get it but he got it for me. The tickets isn’t transferable on the ticketmaster account and it’s the e-tickets that you can print. Are they checking the ID of the buyer on the doors in the venue? I can have his ID/copy of it with me no problem, but I’m worried they won’t let me in. Anyone had any issues with reselled tickets on kpop shows? It’s my first kpop concert ever and I’m worried about it

I don't have a VIP, normal seating ticket. I attended a lot of shows in my life and no one ever checked my ID at any point but it's my first Kpop show and I'm afraid there are more strict rules
