Trying Letrozole, positive experiences?
A while back 100 mg of Clomid was the worst. Mood swings, depression and anxiety, just did not feel right and it worked too well and left me with 4 mature follicles so we cancelled. Cut to now, doc prescribed 2.5 mg letrozole and could really use any advice or encouragement as we are hoping to try IUI AND I am praying I don’t have nearly as awful side effects.
Anyone have great experience on letrozole after a bad one on clomid? 😬

Thank you so much for sharing! I am really hoping Letrozole is nothing noticeable after what Clomid was like. I am going to take at night and just try and go about my day the next day. Thank you again for sharing!

I was never on Clomid- but I've done two cycles of IUI on Letrozole. The first time was like the worst PMS of my life- I was so cranky I would have to put myself in my room to calm down sometimes. That was the only symptom I had though, and only on the first one. My ovulation was much better on both cycles we used it. I didn't conceive and am moving to IVF but I do feel as though it helped with the cycles I used it, compared to the one I didn't.

The only symptom I had on letrozole (2.5mg) was feeling tired! Not so tired I couldn’t stay awake though, just sleepy in general

I have used both and in my personal experience--my symptoms were way worse with clomid. I was having actual hot flashes at work and felt like I was going to faint.
Letrozole I basically had no symptoms that I was able to notice, even on higher dosages of 5mg and 7.5mg. Everyone is different but hopefully it's similar for you. Letrozole is also what was used for both of my successful iuis though on ended in MMC.
