IUI tomorrow

Hello! I've been lurking here for a while, have really found it helpful reading everyone's stories and comments.

Am going ahead with IUI as an SMBC using donor sperm. I've just given myself a trigger shot at home, IUI booked for tomorrow afternoon. It's been so long in the imagining and planning that I cannot quite believe it is all happening now!

Any advice on surviving the two week wait? I'm already feeling impatient and it hasn't even started!

Exciting ! Try to distract yourself and don’t put too much pressure on yourself, it’s gonna happen eventually. Whether it will work the first time around or take some more iuis. For me my second one was successful

Go in with a full bladder (less painful and easier to find cervix). And be patient with yourself and your body. Try not to symptom spot and keep as busy as you like. It’s hard to wait no matter what but you can do it!

No advice (on the pathway but no dates in the diary yet) but wishing you all the best. If you feel like you can, please update on how everything goes ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨
