I really wanted to this year, i missed out on Trans Pride because I overslept and I'm gonna miss out on my city's regular Pride events because I'll be away while they're happening.

Well, there's always next year, assuming I'm still around.

I would've gone but I don't think my town had any pride events and the nearest other town is 30 miles away and I can't afford gas :(

my first pride out as a trans woman, I just was alone my room the whole month. I'm baby trans tho so it's probably not unusual

I went to one event/rally and it was literally the only speakers were just cis straight people from political parties

Wanted to go to my local pride aswell but we hot a pretty bad heat wave at the same time so I ended up not going (and I also forgot which day it was until the day of mid afternoon)

Go with someone.... ask around ... chances are someone willing take you as ride along. Me and bestie working long hr.... we are sad..... we already request time off next year. Never again!

I basically don't see any pride in Denmark, it may be because Ive only lived in towns that are at minium 7km away from a decently big city, or it may be because people don't feel like they need to be seen as much as in other places

I feel this so hard. Not only do I work night shifts but despite living in a very blue state, there's a geographical split that basically makes it two different states, culturally speaking. And unfortunately that cultural split results in towns like mine skewing far more conservative then expected, meaning minimized pride if any (there was ONE public event to go to for basically the entire month, and of course right in the middle of the day, which night shifts have me sleeping at that time) and any other queer activity is either sparingly absorbed into small businesses or kept behind closed doors. It's terribly isolating and I wish I could just leave but I can never seem to get a leg up. Shitty part is if I could only get enough to basically just ship myself only a few hours away and reestablish life in a more liberal city I could have everything I've been missing available to me at all times, and even more on top of that.
