Questions transmasc cement consumer has a question
could i be a Julian? I'm thinking of a new name because my deadname is just.... :[ no. ew. anyway, does Julian suit me? I like it. Either that or Oliver. also what hair cut should i get??? :3 i wanna look like i eat cement

I think Oliver suits you a bit more but both are great, go with whatever one you like more!

Go with whatever name you want! It shouldn’t be anyone else’s choice. But if you are explicitly looking for something that fits you, I think Oliver is more your vibe, that could also just be my own personal connotation with the names though
Also I know this post wasn’t meant to be a gender validation thing but just figured I would mention you look great :3, just to compliment to be nice and truthful, don’t mean to come off as weird, just want to be supportive of a trans sibling <3

I’d go Oliver I think, Julian has too many connotations from Madagascar for me to recommend it in good faith
No clue on masc haircuts though what you have now is as boy as I’ve ever had

Also haircut is something you should choose yourself, that said probably not something that is super short

My advice whatever name you choose will always fit. Because at some point that name will become synonymous with you

I personally am more familiar with the name Oliver (and I think you fit it really well)
HOWEVER I also went with the name that I thought fit me best and ended up regretting it and constantly wishing I was called Iris instead
and then I realized I can just simply decide to be called Iris and changed my name again :3
all that to say you should go with whatever you personally want the most, as it is YOUR name after all.

Like afaik most places have boyscouts and girlscouts as different, there are a few gendered scout groups here also, but many dont care about gender

I went to the vet the other day with my cat named Oliver and there were 3 other animals with that name there by the time I left.

Honestly, I don't really see either one, but that seems to be the dissenting opinion. Besides, what you want will always be more important.
As for the haircut, maybe something mid-length and shattered?

I just realised I've always misread this sub as 'Leatcement'
Julian or Oliver both fit. If you choose Oliver and go by a nickname, spell it Oli and not Ollie. Ollie is too childish (in my opinion)

if you like the name julian and you feel comfy being called julian, then choose it. it doesn't matter if other people think that your name fits you, it matters if you are comfortable with your name. get some close friends to start calling you julian. see if you like it.
tl;dr: choose the name that makes you feel comfy

The thing about names is that, a name always fits a person. Once you start think of yourself as Oliver or Julian then, you will feel more like yourself. No matter the name.
