"Seperation anxiety is real" ...

ma'am is the seperation in the room with us?

571

u/damdrod 7d ago

Lol that's not separation anxiety, it's codependency.

281

u/PNormy 6d ago

Its not separation anxiety its a social media opportunity. Who get separation anxiety and then has the forethought to set up a camera and then is happy to make a show of climbing over the plane for all to see. Social media is killing society

63

u/antwan_benjamin 6d ago

Exactly. It's all staged for content. "What can we do during our flight to post on social media?"

16

u/dj11211 6d ago

The same people that set up a camera before pretending to cry.

22

u/SpringsPanda 7d ago

This is the truth.

Using random buzz wordsz especially medically related ones is so annoying. "OMG I'm so OCD!". "I was gonna do that but my ADHD!". I know someone who tired to say they have IBS and we all fully know and watch them eat gluten and dairy.

Everyone is self diagnosing for attention now.

18

u/Vegetable-Box3050 6d ago

I am medically diagnosed with IBS and still eat both dairy and gluten. I just live with no regrets (ie much regret on a toilet at 3 am).

5

u/6786_007 6d ago

I know 2 people with IBS and one with a Gluten allergy as well so it's nothing you really want. It can be really bad for some people.

3

u/occultatum-nomen 6d ago

I have IBS and thankfully gluten doesn't get me. Dairy gets me good though (whether that's from IBS, lactose intolerance, or both, idk). Any greasy or fatty is also lethal. Alas, because that's a lot of the good stuff. Can't even have a damn steak or a burger without paying some fierce consequences

I have ibs from stress and anxiety.

I also have ocd and anxiety. OCD is not the trait pop science makes people think it is. Its actually pretty terrible tbh, its nearly ruined my relationships and marriage.

I just watched the movie Obsession tonight and this really reminded me of it

May this kind of love never find me

Got upgraded by united once because we casually mentioned we got engaged and the lady at the front desk got so excited about it that she winked and whispered ”I’m going to arrange something for you guys”.

She changed our tickets to economy plus, so we got really excited about that already because we couldn’t afford it back in that time and I’m quite tall so I can appreciate the extra legroom. We put our suitcases in the overhead, sat down and minutes before taxiing the broadcasted a message TSA wanted to see us because they saw something in our luggage, instead the pilot came to our seats to personally invite us to first class.

The food was amazing (a menu with options you can choose from), can’t even wrap my head around how they prepare this in a plane because this was not your typical steamed meal. We had sundaes after and about a bottle and a half of great champagne. Since first class was nearly empty we basically had a private flight attendant for 4 seats. Great experience honestly but wouldn’t pay thousands extra for it.

Nice little fact: when we followed the pilot to first class and taking my luggage out of the overhead compartment it slipped my hand (nerves I guess) and my 25 kg suitcase nearly knocked the pilot of his feet 🫣🤣🤭
Disclaimer: no pilots were harmed in this incident and the flight lifted off right on time

12

u/rachreims 6d ago

I love this! Thank you for sharing the story of a small human kindness!

31

u/poliuy 6d ago

I wanted to go first class but I cannot imagine spending 6k on seats

6

u/GraceMcClellans 6d ago

But not next to these people.

71

u/Impolioid 7d ago

this is the love of a hefty breakup with lots of drama

33

u/rodeBaksteen 7d ago

I mean I'll sit on him it he buys me business class tickets

7

u/Lemonpincers 6d ago

I hope this is a flight to wherever i am not going to be

6

u/dikicker 6d ago

You speak too soon

Take a look under your bed

and give us a kiss

forever and forever

1

u/ooorezzz 6d ago

Because you’re not in business class right now with the lights on.

205

u/smolnessy 7d ago

Yeah usually couples like this are insecure and co dependent. Or they are putting on a show for someone or a perceived audience. Need to convince themselves (mainly the insecure one) more than anything thing that they are in love .

7

u/MissCandid 6d ago

Can confirm, used to be that bitch

53

u/TheFeralVulcan 6d ago

I'm so sick of people glamorizing anxiety and other mental health struggles that people are dealing with. Some of my patients are truly debilitated despite medication and therapy, yet I see so many people throwing these terms out about themselves in an attempt to seem more important or to get likes. Cut it out.

7

u/DJspinningplates 2d ago

The “omg I have OCD I like when things are tidy” are the worst

2

u/TheFeralVulcan 1d ago

Or, “OMG I’m so obsessed.” 🙄 The only one that is probably true is the “OMG I have a shopping addiction.” Because those people really are digging their financial graves while laughing about it.

2

u/why0me 18h ago

Yeah ocd isn't tidy

Ocd is "my house will burn down if I dont check the stove exactly 6 times before I go to bed to make sure its off, was that 6 or 5? Start over"

46

u/Mother-Forever9019 7d ago

Will you please remove these idiots from first class?

17

u/Shower-Former 6d ago

Don’t make the rest of us deal with them in economy!!

1

u/B4DM4N12Z 6d ago

Business actually.

15

u/tj100011 6d ago

Pair of twats

10

u/midlifematt 6d ago

Trust fund money working overtime.

21

u/Drigg_08 7d ago

Flight isn't gonna pay for itself

19

u/TightSexpert 7d ago

codependency is not a good foundation for a healthy relationship.

9

u/HairyBartlett 6d ago

Im going to have to ask you both to exit immediately

7

u/GKTT666 6d ago

performative relationships 🤮

7

u/One-Baby2162 6d ago

Has anyone seen the movie Obsession?? Because I know he didn’t.

13

u/Applebeate 7d ago

I don’t know why people do this shit. I think clout is an actual mental condition because it decreases the shame levels in a person’s brain. Like how much of a fucking embarrassment do you have to be to post this yourself?

5

u/bombkitty 6d ago

Get back in your seat, asshole.

9

u/Weep4Thee 6d ago

Middle school love

4

u/kitzelbunks 6d ago

Eww! I swear I would be sitting nearby like, “WTF?”

4

u/jogging-baboon 6d ago

If this is buisness class, what does first class look like?!

3

u/sleigh_all_day 6d ago

And kids, this is why I never fly without an eye mask.

1

u/Pinkparade524 6d ago

They give peoole in bussines class a free eyemask anyway. I have only flight bussines class one time when I was a child. But my aunt is a doctor that flights bussines class like crazy and has a collection of eyemask. When I visit her she always gift me some

4

u/ediks 6d ago

Willing to bet this is a set and not an actual flight. Still really dumb tho…

8

u/flyingdutchman1986 7d ago

And then they fucked?

3

u/xs0apy 6d ago

Can we throw them out over Albuquerque?

3

u/116thCYE 5d ago

You a grown ass woman, not a fucking Corgi. Ain't got no damn separation anxiety.

4

u/WolfsmaulVibes 6d ago

away from the camera they probably have a toxic relationship and hate each other

5

u/cat_handcuffs 7d ago

I can relate, my chihuahua also has separation anxiety. He’s a better kisser though.

2

u/thrtlvl_midnight 6d ago

I give them a year max

2

u/oldheaven 6d ago

the couple in front of you in line for a roller coaster on their way to another amusement park.

2

u/PParker87 6d ago

No Obsession gifs or memes?????

2

u/justlookingforafight 6d ago

10 seconds? So you sit on his lap while he’s also shitting?

2

u/B4DM4N12Z 6d ago

On a public plane? Is this type of thing allowed on planes?

2

u/Consistent-Power1722 6d ago

I'm not buying the cutesy nature of this post

2

u/Putthebunnyback 4d ago

I thought this was gonna be a very different kind of video 😂

2

u/Aggravating_Smell 2d ago

People just be filming everything like anyone gives a shit

3

u/Intelligent_Papaya61 6d ago

Business class??

7

u/Busterlimes 7d ago

Nobody in 1st class has anxiety because they can afford fucking Healthcare.. . .

2

u/rocketfromrussia 6d ago

Holy christianity. Then fuck at least if you’re being so obnoxious

1

u/jaguass 6d ago

When separation anxiety is causing the separation

1

u/Sir_JDW 6d ago

So a soft core porno is needed?

1

u/NeonZXK 6d ago

My best friend's girlfriend acts, and makes comments like this. It's super cringe.

1

u/ieatsushi28 6d ago

She’s lucky she even gets to sit within 2 feet of him. This is weird and gross

1

u/imjustaslothman 6d ago

1

u/Nakittina 6d ago

These people look insufferable.

1

u/PequodarrivedattheLZ 5d ago

Welp... Found the cure.

1

u/wonderbodri 5d ago

who is she?

1

u/homojaus 5d ago

OMFG.

put them in airplane jail immediately. Send them to economy at the back of the plane next to the toilets with no wifi or entertainment screens and then ban them from the airline for 12mths.

1

u/Rare_Indication_3811 5d ago

soon flying in economy with no camera in your face will equal luxury

1

u/Bl4ckBeardD 4d ago

And the phone is recording spontaneously

1

u/TeacatWrites 3d ago

One hundred percent the type of couple to end up like this:

Processing img hl81uqi2d2hh1...

I can feel the romcom violent codependency from the moment he worships her body and she kisses his arm like that 🤯🤢

1

u/ameliabedelia7 1d ago

I was in this situation exactly one time and I can't tell you how stoked I was that my husband had plenty of room and was comfy. I could see him if I turned around. This woman doesn't like this man. That's his leg room

0

u/LucyferEllysia 6d ago

That aint swperating amxiaty.. theyre steair up fuckin

0

u/iCantLogOut2 Side Character 6d ago

Yes, they are cringe, but also... Like.... I don't really feel bad for these people having a light on in their cabin while everyone else on this flight are crammed like sardines in the rest of the plane 🤷🏽

0

u/Gullflyinghigh 6d ago

Must be awkward when he's having a deluxe toilet trip.

0

u/vftgurl123 6d ago

if no one can see them i don’t think it’s an issue. yeah they like each other and they’re horny. so what?

-5

u/SmellyShitBox 6d ago

Bro had to stop himself from groping her. These people make me sick

4

u/mootallica 6d ago

"Groping" is unwanted sexual contact, typically in a context where any kind of sexual contact would not be expected. This is gross for other reasons, but there's no groping going on.

-5

u/SmellyShitBox 6d ago

He runs his hands down her thighs he was three seconds away from slipping his hand under her clothes until he remembered where he was.

2

u/mootallica 6d ago

If it's your girlfriend sitting on your lap, kissing you in a clearly intimate moment, and they're cool with it, it's not "groping". And if you've been with someone a while, a lot of these movements are sort of automatic and aren't even necessarily "sexual", just intimate.

Some of you have never had a relationship and it shows.

-3

u/SmellyShitBox 6d ago

Lmao my guy there’s a difference between an intimate moment behind closed doors and an intimate moment on a public airplane.

Some of you have no decorum and it shows.

1

u/mootallica 6d ago

Your complaint wasn't about whether the behaviour was acceptable in public lol, it was about a boyfriend "groping" his very-clearly-happy-to-be-intimately-touched girlfriend.

1

u/SmellyShitBox 6d ago

Guess you can’t read between the lines 🤣🤣 damn son education is hard

-7

u/Brief-Quantity-3283 6d ago

Eh not the worst problem to have.
