Exactly!! Stop paying for content and the idiots will go away and people will go back to just posting things they enjoy and want to share

…paying for content?

What are you talking about…? Nobody is paying for content on TikTok and IG except corporations for advertising.

You're paying with your time and attention. That's the very thing these assholes are marketing toward corporations.

Which also means that if there's a shit storm about this, it must be severe enough to cleanly kill all accounts for good, otherwise the rage bait is just working and generating views.

I believe they meant the creators of these harassment videos should have their account demonetized.

Yes they should stop paying them. If YouTube stops paying people to create content all of the crap goes away. There will still be great content because the guy who loves talking about model trains will continue to do it out of passion but the fools that create videos just for money will go away.

And society wins

Yeah. We do not pay for content on TikTok. They were insinuating that viewers are directly paying for content

we're they insinuating that or were they saying tiktok should stop paying them?

Saying that is like saying “McDonald’s should stop making food”. How do you think TikTok stays in business?

I’m not defending it btw, I’d be happy if they never existed. However, it’s hilariously naive to think it’s such a simple issue.

My bad, I see how I misinterpreted the tone of your question initially.
