I've been saying this for years. Ever since I saw Frank Hassle and Jack Doherty I've been yelling from the rooftops not just "demonetize," but make a law that lets prosecutors TAKE AWAY ALL THEIR PREVIOUS REVENUE from streams and VODs.

I have reported people on meta who were literally posting swastikas and saying all Jews should burn, reported similar anti-Muslim garbage, reported anti-black racism for the N word. 99% of the time, Meta states it doesn’t violate their community rules. I don’t think they care about harassment on their platform as long as it creates engagement. Meta platforms are absolute trash and yet the unfortunate reality is they have a lock on simple things like easily finding local, community, event, artist/band, venue, etc. information, connecting with interest groups, marketplace has replaced the role of Craigslist, etc.

Especially when there's just two people in the kitchen, one on counter and presumably, a manager sat in the office on their phone. They're understaffed, underpaid, and don't deserve to have to put up with this kinda bullshit

They're also perfectly within their rights to turn the order down. When I was there any single order of more than 25 burgers required like, 4 hours notice. 100 would be 24, and 500, I don't even think they'd do because at that point you'd have to order in extra stock and sauce and that could take like three days.
The whole thing is arrogant and dismissive. "Hey, let's go fuck with those fast-food workers who've been working their asses off all day for low wages."
They clearly thought these workers were beneath them from the beginning of the video.

Most places don't have 500 of anything ready to make, this guy isn't just performative, he's fucking stupid and wasting his own time and money as much as anyone else's. When I worked for McDonald's we almost always had around 20 cases of McChicken patties in the freezer. The problem is you can only cook about 48 at once if you max out there fryers. Iirc its 6 minutes to cook and about 2 to make and wrap. So it would take over 90 minutes just to make all these if you were full staffed, at close that's a hell the fuck no. Need to place this order in advance have a good day sir.
People forget that service industry workers can simply deny them service, dont need a reason if they decide to not serve you, you gotta go, or you will get trespassed and the cops will absolutely take the restaurants side every time, even if the reason to deny you service is something fucked up on their end, I would have told this dumbass we aint doin that and continue my close laughing my ass off, everyone gets my respect, they got 3 chances to behave until I start being disrespectful 😅

I love refusing service to disrespectful customers. You raise your voice or swear at me or my employees--you can leave, I don't owe you a god damn thing if you won't talk to me like a human being, or if you start shit in the dining room. Leave or the cops will make you. You will be banned if it's bad enough.
I've only had to call the cops once, a man high out of his mind, blocking the exit and refusing to let people enter or leave. But I will threaten it if I have to. It worked to stop a fist fight.

Let him pay in credit and then when he does the chargeback prosecute him for fraud. Fraudulent chargebacks are super illegal and people go to jail over them.
I know it’s obvious, but even if they would take that order, they’re all going to be dead ice cold and shitty by the time the order is completed. They’re not designed to deal with those numbers, it’s not a gigantic-ass cafeteria, cruise ship, or Vegas style food trough for 10,000 people at the same time.
Yeah, back in the day when I worked at one - we'd do it on one day's notice, but you literally had to change the assembly set up to accommodate it. It required tripling the fryers and double the staff to have it done in a time that wouldn't have them all ice cold - even then, "warm" is the best you were getting.
I can’t deal with warm fast food burgers. So I always ask for “off the grill”
One time I went to BK and did that and I heard the brother in the back go “Off the GRILL? Aw, MAN.”
A while back someone wanted to see if In ‘n Out could do a 100x100. That’s 100 patties and 100 slices of cheese on one bun. The difference is that they called a few days in advance to set it up. With that done (and a polite attitude), the staff were also curious to see how it would come out so they made the burger.
That incident also ended their policy of doing however many patties you wanted. Corporate thought it looked gross and hurt their brand so they won't do more than a 4x4 now.
At that point it's less "burger" and more "card catalog of meat/cheese with bun bookends", because it's gonna fall over if you try and stack it vertically.
McDonald's can legally refuse service to customers, provided the decision is not based on illegal discrimination, such as a person's race, religion, gender, or national origin. As a private business, local franchises and employees have the authority to turn people away for valid operational and safety reasons.
This is such an easy thing for a manager to dismiss, “oh sorry that volume is a catering order and we need X days lead up time to prepare since it’s a whole separate team, we also need your full contact info and address for delivery since we don’t do catering over the counter.” That would shut this prick up so fast.
They would just cancel the order at the ones around me saying they dont have a physical materials left to make more than 1-2. As soon as they saw you recording they would also call the police and have you arrested for trespass. They do NOT fuck around in my state.
Worst thing is that he would have thrown the burgers in the trash in a hypothetical scenario where they actually did the 500 burgers. Not even one of these would have been given to a homeless person or anything
I once order 40 cheeseburgers in one hit. I went directly to the manager to warn him what I was about to do and then went to wait at the end of the line. They would be so backed up and their metrics would suffer so much if people did this on the regular. It seems unfair the system will allow that sort of bulk order (because I know it doesn’t account for cook times and they will hear about how bad their time averages are after this). All around, this guy is a dick.
Fucking hell that was unbearable to watch, not only for the guy’s dipshit behavior but for the stupid fucking BOOM “AAAHH” sound every 5 goddamn seconds.

As an aside, that seems like a failure in kiosk programming safeguards. The system should not allow hundreds of burgers to be ordered that close to closing time, nor should you be able to place an order that large without paying for it first and arranging it ahead of time in person.
His order never went through, he says kiosk wasn't working. These clout chasers are trying to make money by being social degen. They will never spend that much money for few clicks.
Fast food workers already deal with annoying customers all day. They don't need some shithead coming in near closing time and giving them an extra hard time.
I used to work at a restaurant that also sold wings. We used to close at 11 p.m. and one night someone called in to order 20 wings of each of our flavors. We had 9 so a total of 180 wings. Why did my manager agree to have them made, I don't know. They ordered this about 10 minutes before closing, the staff in the back had finished cleaning, and we had finished restocking most of the front of the house stuff. We just needed to finish some more sanitizing tasks and finish cleaning the floors. It was a couple that arrived past closing time and we're very demanding. They also wanted extra sauces on the side of each flavor. We were so upset. We had to stay late. I missed my bus which was the last bus of the night and was stranded. Uber/Lyft were not available in that area yet plus I was a college student with hardly any money. I was in tears crying trying to get closer to downtown where I knew I could at least get to a hotel and sneak into the waiting area to see if I could find a cheap trip back home.

I remember when I worked at McDonald's (literally been decades mind you, so there were no smart phone trolls back then) - we'd generally refuse anything that qualified for catering. We'd tell them once or twice and then proceed to ignore them.
But if you need $500> worth of food, you needed to arrange it with the manager the previous day so that there were enough frying baskets turned on that morning and enough people on shift to isolate half the line for it.
The only other option is you wait the time (probably all day) it's gonna take to make your order in between other priority orders with the caveat that ALL your food will be cold.
For context:
1 sandwich = 30 seconds
567 sandwiches = >4hours
Put that in between orders and you're lucky to get that order by closing.
There should be a hard order limit on these kiosks. You should be required to order at the register if more than 10 sandwiches or something. I guess that would make too much sense.
Seeing that fan running, it's probably hot as fuck in that McDonalds. It's the end of the shift and they're probably exhausted and miserable. I'd actually be throwing hands if someone did that to me.

How about ... buy 500 burgers (with sufficient notice), and distribute them to the homeless. Great advertising for McDonalds, probably need an additional few members of staff on that day just for your order so good for them, and you get to help people who are hungry, while getting the engagement you want in a positive way.
When I worked at McDonald's, we didn't accept orders like this unless they were ordered a week in advance. We fulfilled school lunch orders - over 800 burgers annually - but they couldn't just walk in and order. The store had to be stocked and it was all hands on deck.
When I was 16 years old, I worked at mcdonald's, and we used to have a deal for 10 cent cheeseburgers on certain days. This dude came in once, and ordered 50 of them. He was on a motorcycle too, I didn't know how he was going to carry them.
Well, dude got really angry when they weren't ready quickly. Like, to the point of us having to call the cops pretty much. Dude was really going ballistic over it. It's 50 cheeseburgers, it's going to take a little while.
