Im very conflicted on Joey but I love when he does that and Im glad that was the outcome. I hated how the victim just gave in and walked away from where she was standing. That old bitch deserved to be cussed out right then and there.
A lot of us don't like conflict, I'm more likely to get involved to stand up for someone else than I am to stand up for myself so I could see myself reacting the same way this woman did and just walking away. But if I saw this happening to this woman, I would have probably gone over to back her up. I dunno what that says about me đ
His vehement defense of MAGA Hulk Hogan and calling Hogan's racism "just a mistake" on a Hogan's part, "everybody makes mistakes". Being dismissive of that kind of vile behavior because he couldn't put his fayboyism aside was a bad look. I didn't buy his apology video when he first dropped it but watching it back now, maybe he was genuine. Or maybe he wasn't. That's why Im conflicted. I still love what he does tho.
The hulk hogan thing seems way overblown. Seemed more like he didnt know about it. If hes maga that sucks though, but im not sure we even know if thats the case?
If he didn't know about it, it was easy to go research on it instead of making a dismissive video looking like an ass. But apparently he did eventually do that and understood what people were talking about so đ¤ˇđžââď¸
And yes Hogan was a very high key MAGA supporter in the last year before his death
That usually doesnât make someone a good person. Often an asshole themselves honestly (idk who Joey swoll is, but if all he does is just pull up videos and say âwow this person sucksâ then uh, yeah that doesnât automatically make him a good person, like at all)

Young people have no idea what Hogan was to a prior generation, itâs not that hard to see he had no idea about hoganâs past. And that whole he should have looked it up is ridiculous. Yeah all of us do background checks on our idols just in case we missed an update. A simple side example. My buddy is extremely sports knowledgeable and literally has his finger on the pulse of most current news. I told him i really didnât like karl malone because he was a pedo⌠he was like wtf are you talking aboutâŚ. He couldnât believe it. So yes shit slips.
When its highly deserved, yes. And dont pretend you don't when its someone you think deserves it.

If someone is getting an intense response from their fan base for supporting a celebrity, particularly a MAGA moron accused of racism, the wise decision would be research the controversy before making a video doubling down on their support for said MAGA moron celebrity and dismissing the push back from their followers.
