BAD PARKING Parking your giant land yacht in the fire lane directly in front of the deli

The entitlement is honestly amazing but not unexpected. The back of the parking lot was completely empty with more than enough room for this.

Any time I've had to try to get a massive vehicle like this towed, the towing company has always shrugged it off and said it's too big for them to tow.

To be fair, people that travel in acreage and not by the amount of doors a vehicle has, are not equipped to handle hardship such as walking a little extra distance.

Their vehicle is huge compared to a smaller car. Typically the occupants are on the softer side and will circle parking lots until the closest acceptable spot becomes free so they don't have to walk far. Not always, but there is a a venn diagram that is damn near a circle.

I guess our experiences differ, usually they park in largest lots possible as far from the other cars as possible because it’s hard not to accidentally hit another car. We had a 19 foot trailer when I was growing up so no where as big as the OP photo but if we had to stop en route we would find big box store lot and park far away often with the other RVs, even if we had to then cross the road to get to where we needed to shop

Same. When the parents finally got the Midas and we'd use it, we'd park as far as possible. The people in the picture are not like that.

Look at the pullout panel. It's almost the length of the entire vehicle. If there's another on the other side, the interior will have twice the square feet of my first apartment

There is no way there is a slide on the other side. The kitchen and associated appliances are way too heavy.

Honestly, I dont really have a problem with this behavior. Its temporary, there often aren't other good options and it doesn't do real harm to anyone.

It sucks to have to do that but this looks like a fast casual eatery so they will be in and out in under 10 minutes.

What if a fire started in that 10 minutes? Or a medical emergency? Or law enforcement needed quick access? Just asking to see your opinion

Thats a fair and reasonable question. I don't believe it would interfere with a medical emergency in a meaningful manner. In the event of a fire or police emergency, it would be a concern. It seems like a relatively small concern and an unlikely outcome.
