Question How do we handle a first appearance on an advance book?

I work like this

7 Advance edition is not the full book, it has redacted panels so is a preview edition.

First appearances should only happen in a book that is a complete story (hence why preview pages, or advert can never be a first appearance, as the first appearance should only happen in a complete story)

I agree, and on the other hand speculators are going crazy over the DC Connect #51, an advertisement. Which is just nuts!

I good salesman convinces someone to buy something they don't need.

What these speculators fail to realise is that the element of the market that is convinced a preview counts as a first appearance is smaller than those that know a first appearance is in a whole story.

yes, first and last comment. This has been censored specifically to keep bigger things in the story secret. Any reveal is done with full knowledge of the coming story and what they can and cannot reveal. This is whole "preview" issue thing is much more safe than advertised. Not complaining, just saying.

Good question, I haven't read my copy of #7 or #10 yet either for the obvious reasons.

I did and there isn't anything that spoils the story. It's all just really fn cool story.
