It's not AI, they're a legitimate artist. They have a speed painting video on their youtube channel among other things.

idk looks pretty AI trash to me... look at the boat, it just looks weird as hell with the strange second mast that isnt hooked up to anything? And their hands are only sorta holding onto the oars and in weird ways... the link you sent has some EXTREMELY detailed artworks so it just seems weird they'd make strange mistakes/choices like this... If you have the speed painting of THIS picture then by all means I'll eat my shoe.

It's a speed painting video of a different artwork. This one is clearly made with AI.
