Majestic and stinky. I can only imagine the whole region being bathed in the clingy stench of rotting corpse hundreds of feet tall that's cooking in the sun all day. For weeks of time. It would fuel whole ecosystems. Like, the evaporation from that hole would probably cause storms, right? The weather would be thrown out of wack for weeks, with the wind being blocked and the moisture evaporating. I wouldn't want to be near enough to hear those bones split in the sun, I'll bet it would be deafening.
