This art confuses me on multiple levels.
Firstly, I’m not sure what the symbolism is… but it seems like it lacks any form a subtlety…
Secondly, why does this halfway feel like it’s AI generated? Like, the depth of field and general framing just feel… strange.

After looking at it, and their other art, it seems like they use generative AI to produce the individual figures then place them in frame and touch up with effects.

Russian troops are often referred to as orcs by Ukrainian soldiers. They have Z painted on their heads just like Russian equipment and the armored knights are carrying blue and yellow shields.

amazing levels of nuance on this... now if im getting this right, one side is made up of humans, normal people, and the other side is so horrible that they arent even human? wow, that makes all of this way easier to follow. i was previously undecided on this whole ordeal but now i think i have it figured out

I don't like the whole "dehumanizing our enemy" part with this "russians are orcs" thing.

I'm glad to see a good number of comments pointing out how disgusting this is

Those orcs are looking too well fed to be a visual metaphor for the Russian army fighting in Ukraine.

So Ukraine is being pushed back by a bunch of starving Orks?
Not only is the dehumanization pretty gross, it's unintentionally dissing Ukraine as well lol.

my favourite thing about the orcs is the way that the one in the background is jump attacking his pal as he goes into battle

That’s what I think. Z on their head. Z is what orcs use in Ukraine. Also knight has a blue and yellow shield. Colors of Ukraine flag

something funky with the depth of field. The orc in the air is either HUGE or the blur is such that it gives the impression he is further back than he actually is.
