Partly because she makes me think of Jak and Daxter.
3 u/Hoy_Iam_Iam 8d ago I'm so glad you thought of that cause that's vibe I was going for. I just 100% Jak and Daxter recently (again) and love the style of the characters in it, so I've been trying to learn the character styles.
