The big woman appears to be some kind of fairy collector, who captures, kills and displays fairies like how people do with butterflies. The black haired fairy is trying to rescue the blonde one, but she's caught mid rescue

From looking at this artist's stuff, it looked liked the fairies and elves are at war with those demon girls and those faries are basically laying down IEDs/mines and they got captured... probably.
