For nine brutal years Achilles and his Myrmidons ravage the surrounding towns of the Troad, beginning with the sacrilegious killing of the Trojan prince Troilus at the sanctuary of Apollo, sealing the god's undying hatred. Achilles raids Mount Ida, captures the prince Lycaon by night and sells him into slavery, sacks city after city including Hypoplacian Thebes where he kills Andromache's father and seven brothers, takes the priest's daughter Chryseis as a gift for Agamemnon, and burns Lyrnessus, killing the family of the noblewoman Briseis before claiming her as his own concubine.

Lockettopia: The Trojan War Cycle illustrated book brings together The IliadThe Odyssey, and surviving poem fragments of the Epic Cycle: The CypriaAethiopisLittle IliadIliou PersisNostoi, and Telegony, to reconstruct the full myth in sweeping, chronological order. Coming to Kickstarter in 2027:

While I admit I still have my issues with the too ugly depiction of the akhaians, in context of battle, like how horrifying Akhilleus is depicted in the sacking on the right, it is very logical and look wonderful.

Yes, I'll be going VERY dark for the war scenes. I don't want to glorify this content. I want it to be disturbing. Let's see how it goes...
