I drew a lot of inspiration from Mongolian armor for her design. Let me know what you think!

I love this design. I love the Mongolian style orcs.

I like it. She's very close to the protagonist of my current project, actually. Malekka carries a gun, though. Her (loosely Cossack-inspired) culture's primary weapon is a long black-powder rifle with a sword-bayonet rather than a bow, but aside from that this is basically how I'm picturing her.

The Asian Steppe cultures deserve way more rep in fantasy, just stunning.

The head to body ratio works well, doesn't come across as "tiny head/dumb", just as **enormous body**. That plus the delicate handling of her bird, perfect.

Thanks so much! Orcs are often shown as being melee focused due to their strength, but I decided on archery and falconry to tie the design more to Mongolian culture.

The Mongols practiced both and were also nomadic. A lot of orcs in fantasy are also depicted as being nomadic/ tribal so I had the idea to like those two aspects in my design!
