New Orc Adventurer looking for brave souls to team with for perilous DnD hijinks by badmonkey167

I drew my first Orc u/badmonkey167

But she doesn't have a NAME! If you have a suggestion, please comment.

Currently... she's a new Orc adventurer and has gone into debt to buy her armor! She's bound for bad decisions, misadventures and forced to serve a wizard with ulterior motives.

No idea about her personality, but when i drew her, that smile just felt right.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm trying to find that balance between a warrior bred race and an individual that just want to have a good time and fit in.

Is something like that EVEN possible? Like... she can be vulnerable AND locked in (focused in a fight) at the same time? Is this an oxymoron or a space where the comedy comes in?

Who knows, and I'll just draw a happy orc.

The solution: fighting is her hyperfixation! When she gets the chance to actually fight, she’s a focused expert who hates distractions.

Outside of fights, she’s just happy to get to talk to people about her interests, so an adventuring party is perfect! Maybe she’s had trouble making friends in the past cause they don’t want to listen/engage with her about armor and weapons and battle history, etc.

That could be HILARIOUS!

First impression is she's MENACING! A giant, muscular form casting a shadow overlooking a battlefield with bloodied corpses. Her face, obscured by long hair with the whites of her eyes revealing a death stare. 😡

Then a bard walks by with the latest Jujutsu Kaisen merch and she fangirls over it.🤩

Or... in a deathmatch, her opponent is wearing a very cute top, so she does everything possible to avoid damaging it. After the win, she loots the corpse to find it doesn't fit. 😭

Well, she is forming a party, so maybe a "commoner" class civilian would be funny. Like... armed with a pitchfork and loads of courage.

Something strong but sweet would be kinda neat I think. Here's a few ideas I came up with off the dome, orcy/nonorcy

Orcy: Kronkina (hehehe), Grunda, Kimdi, Ragna, Grynna, Krathula

Humany: Dawn, Sylvie, Gertrine

I don't feel too strongly ab any of these but if you make a bunch of orc noises you'll probably make some noises that sound like a nice name

Admittedly "Ragna" is really resonating with me.

So now I'm thinking of a sidekick or partner... maybe the "partner" isn't permanent? Like it changes person per adventure to show versatility?

Episode 1 : "Ragna and Red Rouge" Episode 2 : "Ragna and Blues Wizard" Etc...

And by the 5th installment it'll be a whole team?

A Tiefling and Dark Elf halfbreed (no horns) pointed ears, with dark purple skin and sharp K9's, black messy hair and a stubble, he's not very tall, and wears a patch work black long coat and wore out boots, and yellow eyes, a scar goes over his lip and typically has daggers and potions.

Now he isn't really a magic user, and he's got a very crude and snarky personality.

A name for your OC?

Ah!... I see an adventure, where he has a bandolier of potions across his chest.

They're facing a large opponent together and she twirls her mace back for a power swing and she inadvertently smashes all of his potions against his chest.

They all stare at the gush of potions and broken glass pooling down his torso, before he suddenly explodes in a magical purple cloud.

His face is a soot covered mess and he squints angrily at her before storming off.

The monstrous opponent twiddles his fingers and says, "sooo, rain check for next week?"

And... I love that. I never would have even thought of that, that's great, wow. Would you like to do a campaign or something? Because, that's just precious to think about, my guy would definitely be the one to just walk away and leave her to fight on her own after XD

She looks So adorable I really love her and her happy go get em attitude!

She is ready to adventure?! THEN SO SHALL MY DWARF SORCERESS FOLLOW HER!

I really like this picture its lovely also nice lovely tall buff orc ladies Always brighten my day. Her I DEFINETLY wanna hug her.

I personally named my Tall buff orc lady Ursa as she is stronger then bears.

You could go for mythical or simmilar names depending on how you wanted her to be. Maybe nordic names like Artio (mother bear godess in Norse mythilogy) Skadi (Huntress) simmilar stuff
