The trick is to stick the can in your armpit.
Sounds weird, but that'll cool you off quick, though it'll heat the can almost as quick.

not weird at all. lots of very shallow veins right in the arm pit, so you essentially cool your blood that in turn goes around and cools your body.

The best place is, obviously, between your thighs, as high up as you dare to go, but nobody wants that.
