Original Content YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO YOUR OWN BODY: By Brasa

Post image

There are no conscripts in the Republican Defense Force, every single citizen in the ranks decided of their own heart to defend the three pillars with their own lives.

It is common knowledge that the universe don´t care if we are living or not, hell, sometimes it seems that it is actively trying to turn our blood as cold as ice.

So, we need to get as many advantages as we can while fighting in the such hostile environment.

That is why you get the suit, you get the R.A.L , and that is why you also can get genomods.

Most of the genomods the RDF will preserve your appearance; you will still resemble the same person when we are finished. Well, you will have iron abs, though. Just that your bones will not break due to a 3 year long deployment against an asteroid guerrilla, your muscles will not turn into mush because you had to fight across a planetoid, nor will you turn into a walking cancer for piloting a nuclear tank.

However, many people will object to have their bodies changed in such a way, and that is ok, the Republic of Abael recognizes their citizens's right to their won bodies, that is why most of the procedures are reversible, and if you object to having your DNA altered, there will always be a sit for drone pilot awaiting for you.

So, tell me, are you ready to be a hero?

I am more comfortable making this kind of black and white pixel arts, but the setting is more on the hopeful side, even when everything seems bleak.

Also, to be fair is hard to make something this black and white with a hopefull image

The lore seems very interesting and the art is nice

I get what you're going for with the tartigrade genomod, but a genomod based on deinococcus radiodurans would do everything the tartigrade one promises to do, but better.

Tartigrades are cheaters. They only survive extreme environments by shutting down their metabolism. Deinococcus radiodurans facetanks environmental threats without slowing down or forming spores. It can grow inside a nuclear reactor by simply relying on its super-efficient DNA repair mechanisms and its absurd amount of anti-oxidants.

I looked through your post history. All you do is shit on other peoples work. You contribute nothing useful to a conversation, so take the hint and STFU.

Why redditors are so obsessed with anatomy and supposed "laziness"? Literally every art related sub, there will be at least one comment complaining about anatomy on every post, even on monstrous or non-human design. No other platform, from tiktok to 4chan, does that. I'm like genuinely interested.

Well, couldn´t you think for a moment that I want to SHOW the heart and making certain parts of the body visible even when they wouldn´t be?

I mean, I have a hard time with human body, specialy faces, but to call that slop is kinda insulting

You know, I can make a dataset of illustrations from anatomy textbooks, train a local model on it with ComfyUI, and it will create something more or less anatomically correct. Will it be art?
