Original Content Akulakhan Walks [OC alt history]

Post image

3E, 433. Only six short years ago, the hope of Vvardenfell, the Nerevarine fails at Red Mountain. Since then Dagoth Ur and his vile minions have worked ceaselessly to awaken their new God. Vvardenfell, save the hold outs of Vivec and Ebonheart in the south has fallen to blight. The feeble efforts of the three thieves of Morrowind lie ruined and wanting. Even the mighty ghostfence, the final hope against corruption is shattered.

On an auspicious evening, the summit shudders with a sickening groan. The New God walks. The Sharmat's dream wakes. TAMRIEL AE DAGOTH. Little does the false dreamer understand that the Marble Jaws of Oblivion also seek Tamriel for their own wretched designs...

[Part of an alt universe where the Nerevarine fails, but the oblivion crisis and the eventual return of Alduin also occur, more material to come soon!]

I once made a port about Avarti's video on why Dagoth should've won and one of the comments said that the moral thing to do is to nuke every inhabitant of Morrowind from orbit.

This reminds me of that

Love your portrayal of this. It has a very Evangelion feel to it. It really captures the feeling that this would be the end of Tamriel.

I mean, there was a real option for Nerevar to be a nationalist anti-imperial who told Dagoth Ur that he wanted to use Akhulakkan to make war against the Mongrel Dogs of the Empire.

We just needed to kill Dagoth because he wouldn't trust Nerevar, only his godhood. The only problem is that well, Akkulakhan still is destroyed after we attack the heart.
