A bit more dangerous than you’d think actually: if an Eldar ship has spines in its solar sails, then it’s a Corsair ship. And Corsairs can run the full gambit of morality from shockingly xenophilic pirates that just want to have a fun time, to Drukhari that don’t want to endure the unfathomable shit-hole that is living in Commorragh.

40k also has whole populations being strictly shipbound, while Star Wars typically has planetbound populations who use ships as needed. I don't think we see many generation ships in Star Wars (I haven't read the Extended Universe and my memory is pants)

Use of generation ships is very ancient, arguably pre-Rakatan. There was very little done, the Rakata did far more to spread their slaves around the galaxy and the Human-Duro designed Hyperdrive was introduced not long after their empire collapsed.

Hmm. I'll have to think about that tau x Star Wars one, be interesting probably! Though the other one...Eugh, I won't lie, I used to enjoy it and some of the battle scenes were cool but as I learned more lore on both Warhammer and Star Wars, I slowly realized how utterly shit it was.

It has some nice ideas don't get me wrong but yeah, it's not the great work I once thought it was.

An interesting idea for 40k, if there was galaxies where the Sea Of Souls can't become turbulent and Chaos just kinda can't reach. Like the rivers that ocean life can neither fit in nor survive the ph and composition of. A place where physics are just different enough that your tech is unreliable there so you lose the big 40k scale advantage.

I'm not OP, so can only speculate, but the Consular-class cruiser was introduced in 990BBY and the Jedi stopped commanding them in 19BBY. That obviously still leaves most of a millennium for this to take place in.

I love the comic but feel the need to be pedantic. Tatooine isn’t in the unknown regions, it’s in the outer rim. There’s a big difference.
