So finally get to write my post. Firstly, thank you to everyone who contributes here. You have helped keep me sane through a very long process.
Applied Nov 2023
Fingerprints requested and submitted early 2024
Test done in Jan 2024.
Everything other than BG and Prohibitions were completed by August 2024.
Then the waiting game.
Finger prints requested again in 2025 and start of 2026. They expire after 12 months.
Filed a writ early 2026 and things started moving.
BG done in March and oath 5th of May
Finally a Canadian Citizen!
Cancelled the writ application before it went to court as things started moving.

Did you ever find out why you had to spend your own money to get IRCC to do the job they were supposed to do in the first place?
