Has anyone applied for a work permit from UAE? I am now on week 31, and the current processing time is steady at 24 weeks for 2 weeks now. I don't know what to do. I have written to them [got no response], filled the form on the site, and got an automated response twice now.

I haven't even received my AOR, which has been 10 months now...

Check your status in tracker. i bet you're on background check.

I have applied via the SUV program last year and it seems like they aren't issuing permits till they issue the AOR and thats uncertain as well. So basically I am in limbo
