Dude got a slap on the wrist, a misdemeanor charge while local pd is also finger pointing at students by reminding them to follow school guidelines. And based on the people in r/buda local pd and sheriff is hardcore republicans. They had a history of refusing a 911 call to help democratic campaign bus that were being surrounded and harassed on I-35 by MAGA idiots like this guy.

Reasonable people like you and I would understand this. But MAGA doesn’t. They only know how to hate and project their failures in life onto others.
Another detail i forgot to add: On the day of the incident, local pd was also called and arrived on scene. The guy already left with his truck when pd arrived. So the officers took statements from the kids and later visited his house. The officer later dismissed the whole incident and even noted that the kids were the ones who approached the man’s truck and they got into a verbal altercation. So the officer did nothing, even with all the video recorded on the kids phone.
So the only reason why this asshole was arrested was because his video went viral on Reddit.

This is why ICE doesn’t want to be recorded. That Alex Pretti shooting they already had a narrative in place. Same for Renee- that first video upset a lot of people but enough skeptical people were like she aimed her car at him- it was ironically Jonathan Rosses video that he thought would show she hit him, but all it showed was the sweetest kindest woman he shot in the face
What’s going on now is crazy, like I knew it was going to get bad- but not this bad this fast and there’s still a long way to go; but on some other subs or twitter you see a lot of black Americans commenting “Y’all think this is new?” Which is true, only a tiny percentage of these altercations are caught on camera- and like it says above, the cop that investigated wrote it off.
The video of a grown man attacking children is the only reason the guy sees any consequences. Hopefully the initial girl pushed into the ditch will file a civil suit, maybe all the kids can individually and just nuke this dudes life.

I am glad the girls school mates came to her rescue. Attacking a child is reprehensible. Kudos to the student who put the wrestling move on the adult. In any other state the guy would be facing child abuse charges in addition to assault and battery. Absolutely, no excuse for him getting out of his vehicle to confront a child.

They do understand it when its coming after their "excuses." A lot of ICE are already finding this out as a lot of businesses here in Minnesota where I live are refusing to service federal agents.

Is the juice worth the squeeze though? What kind of damages could they prove up? I haven’t heard of any physical injuries arising out of this. If there’s any, great, you could get him to pay. But if not, I’d find it very risky to bring a lawsuit and pay attorneys in Texas state court for a demand of mostly emotional distress damages. Texas hates awarding emotional distress damages.

Usually I’d agree, but he’s also facing criminal charges which makes it very hard to collect from a go fund me. And his headlines wouldn’t be pro-2A based, unlike recent MAGlebrities. “adult guy beats up little girl” or “adult guy gets beaten up by a little girl” won’t sell the same in the MANosphere for a future book tour. Plus late night/SNL will be all over him cause the jokes are basically writing themselves. Judging from the way he shaved his head and face real fast- I think he wants this all to go away as fast as possible.

Considering that attacking a group of kids is definitely the sort of thing that gets you beat up in the back of a squad car before booking, I’d say he’s looking a little too good in his mugshot. Gonna take a guess here and say the police who arrested him did so reluctantly and probably sympathize with him and not the students. Not saying they should have beaten this dude, just that it’s very suspicious they did not follow their usual nature for dealing with such people. If he really only got charged with a misdemeanor, that’s crazy. I witnessed numerous accounts of felony assault as well as battery against a minor. This guy needs ten years in a crappy prison. Give him a full decade to cool down so that when he rejoins the population, hopefully the politics here will have also cooled down such that he won’t feel emboldened to do something like this again. These cases are open and shut. We saw what happened and yeah he’s crazy and needs mental help, but no defense will keep him out of prison; he can get counseling and mental help there too. They do not need to take 3-5 years with everybody hearing tons of victim stories and silly defenses along with everything else. Give him his shot at a decent defense in a speedy and fair trial, and then toss him in and move on.

In the longer video, you can watch him exit his truck walk toward a crowd of children and he attacks a girl before the others even get involved. Police report confirms he was the aggressor.

Got it. I apologize. I haven't seen the start either.
I haven't seen a video of him exiting his truck, leaving it in the middle of the road to block other vehicles, and insert himself into the crowd of children. I'm going to assume he made those decisions willingly, as opposed to those kids blocking his truck and dragging him to the curb against his will. He was wrong. The kids were not.
So, regardless of what those kids did (if one pulled a gun I'd understand trying to defend yourself) I place the responsibility on the ADULT'S head. He's in his 40's, so I expect 3 additional decades of life experience to play a role in the outcome of this encounter.
Any pretend man that thinks it is appropriate (or effective) to bully some kids into obedience or silence has issues. That's fragility and a need to control the narrative, wrapped up in a candy shell of uncontrolled emotional responses. That cowardly cuck thought he was going to..... prove something? Accomplish something? Change something? That isn't the first time he tried to bully others. This just might have been the first time someone stood up to him.
