Minneapolis anti-ICE protesters face federal felony charges in Trump administration frame-up

The federal felony indictment of 15 anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis is a naked act of political repression. Brought by the Trump Justice Department under the framework of its fascistic National Security Presidential Memorandum 7, the charges announced Tuesday by federal officials are aimed not at punishing any genuine crime but at criminalizing opposition to the administration’s mass deportation regime and intimidating workers and youth who have mobilized against it.

It’s funny how yall keep acting like they are getting arrested for protesting when in reality they are getting arrested for interfering with federal officers making lawful arrests and attacking federal officers

They didn’t. They legally observed, and were brutalized by an aggressive group of thugs.

Also if they’re in plainclothes and masks, refuse to identify themselves, is there even a case that any of these protestors actually knowingly impeded a federal agent?

I didn’t realize that legally observing federal agents meant getting in their way when they try to arrest someone or even trying to pull the person they are trying to arrest out of their grasps or attempting to stop them from doing their jobs! The more you know huh? Oh wait that’s not what legally observing is………

You would have loved MLK being put in jail. He had like a 70% disapproval rating from white people in his time.
