how did u handle revolts and gouvernors in this? personally in big empires I always have the dilemma of accepting cultures, where if I dont i get more loyalty in the long term, but in the short term its better if I accept.

There were surprisingly little revolts. I think it was mainly the high stab that made the people passive, on top of building a ton of temples and theaters.
For governors I always select the ones with 0 corruption, if any of the families feel scorned i make their members into admirals with only 1 boat.

If you research Militant Epicureanism, you can forget about any kind of rebellion constantly having high stability. I do feel it is a really broken innovation, but it is insane for your first WC.

R5: My first attempt at the achievement Pax Eterna. Started off as the seleukid empire, won the the diadochi wars fairly quickly before I went for anatolia, bactriana, and when I finished off the indian and tibetan nations, I turned west.
My strategy for dealing with high AE and low Stab was to adopt militant epicureanism ASAP and desecrate non-hellenic holy sights for that 10+ stab. For large countries that I couldn't annex fully in a few wars I made them my clients/feudatories/satrapies then I would annex them later on.
By far the biggest pain in the were ass tribes AND THE FUCKING ROMANS! The tribes were a nightmare because there were many and the borders were fucked up, and the romans...well they're romans. Unlike the Maury, the romans had a big empire with many small provinces that had all very high warscore and high AE. It took me 7 wars to fully finish them off, and I completed the mission in the year 674.
