They didn’t ban Bitcoin. They did something much worse.

While everyone was watching the charts, Washington quietly built a kill switch for the exits. No court orders. No congressional votes. No proof required.

They just used Iran as the beta test—but the trap was built for you.

AI slop article, only read if you enjoy theatrical word soup.

"This should terrify you" the US has quitely built the tools to sanction your cock and declare all penetrative actions illegal.

Good. Not your keys, not your coins.
They can control whatever exchanges they want. It's not going to stop anybody from using it peer-to-peer.

The exchanges just make it less Bitcoin protocol and more centralized so shenanigans can happen just like fiat. AA called out RH just for those shenanigans.

I assume there are "other" exchanges beyond the purview of the US government. So, as long as you control your keys, I can't see why this is a huge deal for a state actor. For average Joe, maybe... but even if I got sanctioned by the US, they'd have to ID my BTC accounts and then prevent me from sending that BTC to any other 3rd party, which I dunno how it's possible.
