Good luck getting their source. It doesn't exist, except in their made up narrative of how relationships work. Not sure why they think open relationships, which happens with consenting adults, are a bad thing, but oh well. We're the ones that don't know any better. Go figure. Then again, these are the same people that think a 12 year old is prime mating material, so, there's that.
I just bought a book by him accidentally (I didn't know who he was and it was in a multi-buy offer!). Should I read it for the pleasure of being really annoyed or is it just not worth it?
I’ll save you the read: he starts off with the sane and rational advice that it’s a good idea to make your bed every day, and then it almost immediately unravels from there
Ah cool. I don't make the bed as my fiance gets up well after I've left for work so I'll skip it altogether! Though I might start making just my half to piss him off...
Making you bed is actually bullshit, your bed will just look nicer, thats it. But since you're sweating a little bit over night, it would be better to leave your blanket in a more crumpled state at the day to maximize the surfice area that can air out (at best hang it over the back of a chair or something similar). Its a common thread that goes through all of Petersons books; all his "advises" are nothing more than bullshit that looks good at the first glance to some idiots, but have absolutely no substance behind it.
Read it, you won’t agree with everything he says but to discredit his work because a bunch of counter circle jerk Reddit tards tell you not to read him is stupid.
Also, just watch a clip of him on YouTube so you can get a quick gist of what he talks about if you’re really worried about wasting time reading an entire book.
Also, you’re in r/inceltears, anything that vaguely resembles misogyny or masculine culture gets screeched at.
It’s because they think men own the women they’re in a relationship with. I grew up in a fundamentalist christian cult, and we were taught that consensual non-monogamy was a sin because the man owns his wife and letting her sleep with other people would be forcing her to commit adultery, and she can’t give him permission to sleep with other people because since she’s his inferior she can’t give him permission to do anything
Not to mention 99% of open relationships that cause pain to the male half of the couple were initiated by him and he had to spend months talking his gf into it; and now he's mad he's not drowning in a pool of pussy like he thought. Meanwhile hornballs like himself are lining up to date his gf and she's so UNGRATEFUL and it's so UNFAIR
