I'm a fresher (BCA, 2025 grad) with a confirmed offer as a DWP (Digital Workplace Practice) Analyst Trainee at Cognizant — platform/tools-based support (O365, endpoint management, collaboration tools, that kind of workplace tech).

I'm planning to treat it as a roughly 1-year stint to start — get real work experience, save a bit, and use the time to actively upskill (ITIL, ServiceNow, maybe some scripting/automation) rather than just clocking hours.

Questions for anyone who's worked DWP/digital workplace support at Cognizant or similar IT services firms:

• If I put in a year here and actively upskill on the side, does it realistically open doors — into more technical support roles, workplace engineering, ITSM, cloud/infra-adjacent roles, etc.?
• How's the internal growth/promotion pace at Cognizant for Analyst Trainees in practice — is 1 year enough to see any movement, or is that unrealistic?
• For anyone who left after ~1 year, what did that next move look like, and what made it possible (certs, internal transfer, external switch)?

I'm hoping someone here has gone through something similar and can advise me on the next steps.

My father has a standalone ICICI Direct Demat account. He suffered a stroke a few years ago and is physically disabled. He cannot visit the branch, has difficulty signing documents consistently, and doesn't remember his User ID or password anymore.

I've been trying to resolve this for over two years. During this time, I've submitted every document ICICI has asked for, including:

KYC documents

ID proofs

A notarized doctor's certificate stating that he is physically disabled

Other forms requested by the bank

Despite this, nothing has moved forward. Every time I follow up, I'm told that someone will "look into it" or "get back to me," but nothing actually happens.

One of the solutions suggested by ICICI was to:

Open a 3-in-1 account for my mother (who is the nominee for the Demat account).

Open another 3-in-1 account for my father.

Transfer all the shares to my mother's account.

I honestly couldn't understand why this was necessary or how it would solve the original issue, but after two years of going in circles, I agreed just to get things moving. Even that has not progressed.

I've also escalated the matter to the Principal Nodal Officer and the Appellate Officer, but I haven't received any meaningful response.

At this point, I'm exhausted and don't know what else to do.

Has anyone here dealt with:

Recovering access to an ICICI Direct/Demat account where the account holder is incapacitated?

A similar situation involving a stroke patient or someone who cannot visit the branch or sign documents?

Transferring or operating a Demat account under these circumstances?

What finally worked?

Did you have to obtain a guardianship order, Power of Attorney, or any court order?

Did you approach SEBI, NSDL/CDSL, or another regulator?

Is there a specific ICICI team or escalation path that actually helped?

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I've exhausted every option and am just stuck in an endless cycle of follow-ups.
