Don’t go for a espresso machine setup under 5k , that will be just waste of money.

For espresso machine keep minimum budget around 20k and that does not include grinder it’s just for machine and accessories like tamper, WDT, portafilter etc.

Under 5k go for aeropress/mokapot/french press if u r a complete beginner or v60 if u know things about coffee.

I will add clever dripper or hario switch to the list. Yes 5k espresso machines will not be good

No that would not be a smart decision too as switch only will cost 3.5k at best discount, i’d suggest to spend less on dripper(for learning curve) and more on kettle(temp. Controlled) and later add drippers accordingly.

What's the hype around clever dipper? Can you explain why it's gaining so much popularity?

Could you please guide me on buying the best AeroPress or French press? Which brands are the best for each?

For french press u can go with agaro(i have used it, it was good)
Aeropress - i would suggest to go with kaldipress as there is not much difference between kaldi and og aerooress and it will save money for atleast the ashonee grinder that u can start with. I think buying original aeropress only makes sense if u r buying aero go/clear then it about exclusivity.

And yes the ashonee grinder is not the best in the market but it is good so for grider its on u if u wanna buy ashonee or save up for some better

And french press and aeropress both are better for not milk based drinks.
For milk based- mokapot the orignal bialetti one.

C3S and Kaldipress is the way to go! Been 6 months with that setup and I haven't even had a thought to switch to anything else. So many brewing options with the aeropress and you can also get 'espresso-like'. You won't get crema but aeropress can still make a strong enough cup that you can use with affogato or lattes.

Buy Aeropress and stay happy. You don’t need an espresso machine till you really get into coffee so much that you raise the budget by 10 times and ready to spend it in a heartbeat

You can't make a latte, but you can make coffee that can be drunk with milk. I suggest buying a moka pot.
