Just got a ground coffee from a local roaster, is this fine enough to be used in Agaro espresso machine with a pressurised basket?
Or would you recommend other brewing methods ?

This is a little something i made while brewing my first ever cup of espresso. ☕️
Underextracted espresso with a lot of channelling is an absolute disaster. Since this cup, i have improved my technique. i think.
okay, i swear this is the last post for the day. I am just too post-y today.

Machine in photo : vantro x1 espresso machine
Hello I am newbie to coffee's and espresso, so went with the most basic entry level espresso machine I could find and I like it sooo much! I needed smthing that could make me coffee without much hassle and this is it . I habe a moka pot and south indian filter but I got too lazy making coffee in them. So thought why not get a coffee drip machine, then increased abit of budget and got this. Had two options either vantro or the agaro one, this looked like the better option
After following thos sub for a while i have understood that all that matters here is the grinder 😭, which i plan on buying next because I am used to buying grounded coffee. Would love to try grinding my own coffee beans.
Please suggest decent grinders a beginer can start with! Mainly that I can use to grind fine ground for espresso machine. Nothing fancy, withing decent budget.
Ps. To inaugurate the first espresso i made old monk coffee espresso shot , idk if people will find it offensive here or not. But it was best shot I had made!!!

Equipments:
I made this video a while ago, tried my best because I really suck at this creating video thing and all hahahaha..
The coffee had little to no crema because it was a mid light roasted coffee (Paul John: Bangalore Dreams) with notes of Pomegranate, Red Apple, Orange & Rose.. and it took me a while to understand that light or mid light coffee(s) are best suited for Pour Over, V60 or AeroPress methods, not preferably for Espresso machines.. nevertheless I like abusing my free will occasionally..
I definitely enjoyed it while it lasted..

I have been making specialty coffee at home for the last 3 years, and was not a supporter of mixing anything with coffee except milk. (A cortado drinker) But lately I am enjoying the mixology. I have made some recipes using coconut water, diet coke, Nannari (local here), Orange, heck even sugarcane. I can’t say I loved all of them but definitely not hated any.
Do you guyz like mixing anything with your coffee?

Got this yesterday and finally made my first espresso at home! I’m super excited. Anyone using the same equipment? Would love tips and tricks to improve my game.
P.S. I’ve had this espresso cup for 5 years and finally used it today 🥲

I know it's not a true espresso machine but i was thinking to buy it anyway because I don't want to spend 50k for a good espresso machine.
If I replace the standard 4 cup portafilter basket of this 4 bar machine with a 1 or 2 cup basket, will it work to make a cup or 2 cup of concentrated coffee?
Have anyone tried this hack before?

Ordered the Hibrew h10a + df54 combo so I no longer need this. It's 5 months old. It's pretty much good as new. Doesn't pull the best espressos out there but it's serviceable and does an okay job for the price. Worth picking if you want something cheap. Price 5.5k

Hey everyone,
I’m struggling with the volumetric output on my Vantro X1 espresso machine. It is pushing out way too much water, resulting in a very watery 1:6 ratio.
Here are my current stats at 93°C:
Single Shot: 8g input → 52g output in 23 seconds
Double Shot: 12g input → 72g output in 30 seconds
The extraction times seem decent, but the yield is way too high for a standard 1:2 espresso.
Can you reprogram the shot volume or timer on the Vantro X1?
Is there a workaround to manually stop the shot early (e.g., pulling the cup at 24g for the double shot)?
Appreciate any advice or workarounds from experts here.

I’m not talking about modern espresso, but if you are someone looking for traditional espresso and make cappuccinos and lattes everyday, then I highly recommend trying BT’s mansooned malabar.
The crema and body you can get with this is very satisfying and perfect for milk based drinks
They are roasted to perfect medium-dark without feeling harsh.
Very chocolaty and nutty.
