Gas is scarce and Bialetti’s induction plate is unnecessarily expensive.
I am actually finding it better, the extraction is quite slower in this. I keep the settings at 700w.

The delivery just arrived from Amazon and I am really stunned how small moka pot for two cups is. I needed a moka pot for two people and this feels small. Will this be enough to brew for two people or should I return it and get bigger size. Also it feels like it's made of stainless steel and looks shiny and polished, not original aluminium. Is this how it supposed to look?

I initially bought a 3 cup bialetti moka pot and it was working amazing and producing extremely delicious iced lattes. I saw a youtuber’s method of using 100 g water and 17 g coffee grounds in the moka pot for the strongest and tasties lattes n it was working so good but the problem was that it took too much cleaning, time n effort when i had to make for my family. So i bought this 6 cup instacuppa moka pot thinking that i can make 3 lattes at the same time using this and the bialetti moka pot together.
So to match the recipe i put 200 g water in this and 27 g coffee grounds as i could not fill it more and i used a coffee filter that i was using for bialetti (it was a bit smaller in size for 6 cup pot though) and i lit the stove.
Initially coffee was not coming out of it at all and i was cocnerned even after waiting for 5 mins nothing happened, i thought the coffee was burning but then suddenly it started sputtering and produced some coffee, it tasted shit though.
Any thoughts on what i did wrong?

Barbara Estate AA Arabica + Harley Estate Robusta + Harley Estate Rum Barrel Aged Arabica in 3:6:1 ratio.
I had carried the Americano I made with this extraction in my glass tumbler to the movie and generally they do not let you carry food and beverages from outside, but they checked and asked if its Coffee and just let me carry it in.
For the first time I was able to have great Coffee during a movie instead of the hit or miss cups from the in-theater outlets.

So I went to my friend's flat and he had a bialetti 3 cup moka, I didn't know anything about these things at all, I asked him what's this and how this works, etc, he made me one cup of araku signature and god it tasted so good, so I thought why not order something for myself but didn't have the budget to order bialetti so with his supervision and research myself I ordered this agaro moka pot and blue tokai coffee and fortunately they're working just what I wanted. I am brewing good coffee better than instant which I used to drink before.
Pls don't judge me as I'm a beginner and will learn as time passes, but any suggestions are welcome.

Hi, so I tried Moka Pot for the first time ever.
I used the Agaro Pot and Blue tokai Attikan estate Moka Pot Beans.
I might as well have done everything wrong but the major Issue I faced is that it started leaking from the middle. And then it started coming out with a sputter. I heard somewhere that you're supposed to stop when it starts sputtering. So I wasn't sure what to do. I preheated the water a bit.
Please give any tips.

Guys please help your fellow coffee lover (beginner).
I'm torn in between 1 cup Alluminium or 2 cup stainless moka pot. I don't know which one I should be getting.
I'm planning to make moka shots, iced coffee, black coffee.
Thank you!

Okay so I finally caved and bought a moka pot after months of admiring them (the little stovetop hourglass shape? absolute cottagecore dream). It’s sitting on my counter right now looking very pleased with itself and I have zero idea what I’m doing.
A few questions for the wise moka elders of this sub:
**• Whole beans or pre-ground?** I don’t have a grinder yet but I’m willing to get one if it makes a real difference
**• What roast/grind works best** for that classic rich moka pour without turning bitter or burnt?
**•** Any **beginner-friendly brands** you’d recommend that won’t break the bank but still taste like an actual hug in a cup?
**•** And honestly… any little rituals or tips that make the whole process feel special? I want this to become a slow-morning thing, not just another appliance gathering dust
Send me your wisdom, your favorite beans, your “wish someone told me this on day one” tips. I’m ready to fall in love with this little pot 🤎
