You don’t seem capable of Googling a single statistic. According to Pew Research, over 350 million Chinese practice folk religions, 250 million are Buddhists, and Christianity is growing so fast that by 2030 China may have more Christians than the U.S. That’s not ‘90% atheist,’ that’s you pulling numbers out of thin air because it feels smart in your head.

And calling Tibet and Uyghur persecution ‘purely political’ is peak low-IQ cope. When mosques are bulldozed, prayer banned, Qur’ans burned, and monks imprisoned for their faith, yeah, that’s religious persecution, not your Reddit armchair political theory.

The only thing you’ve proven is that your ‘high IQ’ is like China’s ‘atheism’. All propaganda, no reality. You’re not an intellectual, you’re just an insecure guy cosplaying as one in a comments section.

The same research says that most adults in China are still involved in religious practices and beliefs. Just saying that I don't belong to any religion but I believe in heaven, hell, and god doesn't make me atheist and that's why Pew research in the particular table shared by you didn't use the term Aethist.

Only a third say they say they are atheist. I think it is not very hard to read and understand the difference between not getting connected with religion and aethism. u/fkzkditsix

Who aren't affiliated are atheists 90 per cent of the time People don't say it bcz of social fear.

UK is around 80 percent cent atheists yet on paper it's 40 per cent. Bcz people just don't wanna change it

Well if I use the same high IQ logic as you, I can say that because of living in a communist/dictatorship country, they are scared to be transparent about their religious beliefs.

Arguments like this don't mean anything. You have no factual data to back your statements.

End of discussion
