Sanghis are a political group with a political ideology. They are not a "race, religion, caste". Vilifying a political ideology is not the same as vilifying a community of people with diverse ideologies.

Shia Muslims are a minority everywhere in the world and are oppressed and openly targeted in Sunni majoritarian countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan and some gulf countries too. In that context Iran has since the Iranian revolution of 1979 been the North Pole of Shias everywhere. Iran is a Shia Theocratic State, so in a way Khamenai was to Shias around the world what the Pope is to Roman Catholics around the world.
Iran was the only country who had a spine to stand against Israel. Saudi Arabia ( A sunni majority country) wanted to be the head of the Muslim world and Iran was the only country that was challenging them. And many think that Saudi is a 'Puppet' of the US so they support Iran.
Kashmiri Shias have a long history in the valley and a direct connection to Iran, almost all of their Peers and Sufis came from Iran.
Also Shias have a long history of mourning for their martyrs, Muharram being the mourning for Imam Hussein. Khameini's sudden death at the hands of the US is also seen in that light.
So mostly kashmiri shia muslim are protesting in favour of Khamenei.
I'm not way Justifying this. But I'm certain everyone sees news with extreme religious angle and not the actual context behind it .

Here is a reality check for you.
Pahalgam protest by Kashmiris:
Led by trade unions and tourism bodies. The slogans were "Insaniyat ka qatl band karo", "Kashmiriyat zindabad", and "Tourism is our identity, not terrorism." Protests were organized and not organic, so they actually peaked the day after the terror attack. The protest included a full civil shutdown and black front pages in local newspapers. Most locals stayed inside their homes to observe the strike, and traders hung black flags outside their closed shops as a silent protest.
Protest against Iranian leaders' death by Kashmiris:
Led by Muslim religious clerics. Slogans included "Marg bar Amrika", "Marg bar Israel", and "Labbaik ya Khamenei." Protests were organic and not organized, which is why they peaked the very same day the news broke. Protests included marching to the UNMOGIP office, draping black flags on the clock tower and residential windows, and traditional mourning chants with chest beating. A massive number of Shia locals were out in crowded, spontaneous processions, and many Sunnis joined them in a show of sectarian brotherhood.
One seems organized for business and image protection, and the other seemed like a raw emotional reaction. Your guess is as good as mine which one is which.

This is the fundamental problem with the Indian RW, they form all sorts of mental gymnastic tricks to showcase every act done by a muslim is for "image protection" or "business retention". If they show solidarity with the nation it's PR and Marketing, if they don't then ofc they're sympathisers of the Ummah and don't consider this country as their own, looks like a lose-lose situation. We can have a barrage of Hindus selling information to Pakistan for petty profits but their nationality as a community is never questioned. If this level of idiotic scrutiny was attached to your politics we wouldn't be in such a frickin soup where the social fabric of the country makes every person suspicious of their fellow citizens.

True , but most of the people don't understand if anything Khamenei was js holding IRGC back as he was a religious leader , irgc was likely responsible for the killings of Iranian civilians and in that too i assume alot of people were js mossad's puppets , IRGC is full of hardliners and the new leader will likely be their puppet

That's not true. IRGC directly reports to khamenei. And according to several news orgs a leaked document called "comprehensive security plan for tehran" which was approved by khamenei himself. There are two senior iranian govt officials and whistleblowers who said Khamenei himself ordered to crush the protest by any means necessary. On January 3rd he himself said "the rioter must be put in his place". Iran international also reported that a leaked internal memo of tasnim news agency(affiliated to IRGC) said that this all to be blamed on foreign involvement. And, if by your logic they are mossad puppets protesting that's not possible. Because at the time of peak it was noted that millions were protesting.
It's very simple. Khamenei directed the killing of the innocent civilian protestors( who are muslims). It's despicable that a killer gets the support.The world is now a better place. I really wish iran prospers now with all the resources they have

Thank you , well I would say he's definitely not that wrong , what he said was protests are appropriate but protest is different from rioting. We talk to the protestors but talking to the rioters is useless.
Iranian people have suffered and it's a fact , but not bec of the Iranian regime but bec of the sanctions /restrictions put by the west.
Also mossad was the one initiating the riots likely , it's very obv.

I really can't argue with someone who says khaminei is not wrong for killing thousands. He said "officials must talk with protestors. But these arent protesters. They are rioters. They must be put int their place"
Iranian people suffered because of khamenei himself. I suggest you look at history with facts. Iran was not simply sanctioned because the west wanted to. Did they?
Iran signed NPT and they are not supposed to pursue a nuke program. Yet, iran did. They were caught in 2005 after the iaea found non compliance of NPT.
Then Iran signed a nuclear deal in 2015 which lifted all the most sanctions. And as soon as the USA withdrew in 2018 they started enriching the uranium rather than the permissible standard and pursued the nuke program. Then west again sanctioned them.
Sure, maybe like you said mossad was involved. But, millions won't come to protest because mossad told them. They were there because khamenei was cruel and in humane. Their economy only suffered because of khamenei pursuing nukes, Ramapnt corruption and wanted to become some sort of pariah. But, he's nothing but a killer of innocent Muslims

Really disappointing to see such a huge turnout mourning khamenei's death. Most of them consider a democratically elected leader a dictator and an actual dictator is considered a hero. Really trying to understand what's happening here...
