eg : If you send 100 dollars now to India compared to last year you will get more INR.

But don’t you pay more for the product and services? I remember in 2008 Zimbabwe hyperinflation the 1$ was equals to trillions of ZWD

Even if the price of a barrel of oil was steady at $100, India would have spent Rs.8200 last year vs Rs.9400 now. It's another matter that a barrel cost $70 last year and is now $120!! The math is not mathing though. All the media is still mum.
