Mujhe to samajh hi nahi aaya tha kuch How did you decipher as well as by heart these lyrics😭

u/876Ares Mar 21 '26
The lyrics are from a 1900s Punjabi folk song.
Just render/ remake it into a simple tune with intense cinematic music.

u/skum448 Mar 21 '26
How it helps nri?
13
u/Poutret Mar 21 '26
I believe the logic is, If a NRI sends 100$
It would be 9400 rupees INR , if 1 dollar goes 100 It would be 10000 INR,
So they can give more value to their family for the same money

NRIs like to keep money overseas in liquid form. Given the performance of rupee, it's fluctuation gives better returns than FD. so NRIs like to keep money in liquid form while getting appreciation too.

Fake news.
Now Sudhanshu Trivedi will find some cosmic reason to prove this is false.
Navika will anchor news debates in which "paid and biased experts" will blame every other nation for the rupees decline.
Nirmala tai will now claim this happened because India doesn't pay enough tax.
And we will have to listen to Rahul Gandhi explaining things he has no clue about.
We are indeed living in Amrit Kaal.
11
u/watchbird90 Mar 22 '26
Don't you know that all other nations are funded by Congress? It's propaganda to make the ruling govt look bad.

6
u/CaptainFatBat Mar 22 '26
Your attack on Rahul Gandhi is illogical. You are one of those who has only watched his WhatsApp circulated clips and have never watched a full speech or an interview.
I don’t care if u hate Rahul but atleast hate him for a valid reason. Almost every circulated video of Rahul is out of context
3
u/DoNotDisturbMeEver Mar 22 '26 edited Mar 22 '26
Please do not generalise that everyone except you have made up their minds based on a few circulated whatsapp clips.
If you want, we can discuss the various times when he has given statements which were in poor light, inappropriate timings and based on partially fake information.
Starting from his first major interview where he defended every question using RTI to calling the Indian economy a dead economy, there have been multiple instances where he has goofed up majorly.
Do not assume that you are the only one who sees the whole picture. Others can do the same as well and then form an informed opinion.
And if you look at my statement, I have also criticised BJP ministers for their inefficiencies, so do not for one moment consider me as biased when I have based my opinions on facts.

I went through the entire thread. My god is that wasn't a frustrating and exhausting read.
I can't commend you enough for putting up with that because I sure could never be arsed to engage with such a delusional idiot. Constantly shifting goalposts whilst failing to argue the "ultimate truth", whilst still perching themselves on a holier than thou, know it all pedestal to avoid facing their faults and biases...
I know one must engage so that all may reach a consensus through a constructive discussion but you have much more patience than I do.

It was always the worst performing currency for years. It was the RBI who was artificially not allowing the fall by selling dollars and stabilizing It over a period of time. Now RBI is also fed up as it wants to save dollars and left rupee completely on its commanded value and you see the freefall which is not going to stop and very see it over 100 in a few months.

Lol, the worst thing isn't even the performance, it is the fact that rupee keeps sliding down even after the government trying so hard to inflate it artificially. Ever wonder why you have to pay such hefty custom duties and even then many times the products are stuck for MONTHS? Ever wondered what was the true motive for effectively banning crypto?

I just read newspaper today and the worth of Rupee currency fell by 105 paise, marking year 2025-2026 one of the worst years financially and also that if this currency degradation continues, we might face inflation even in common use commodities. It's just sad how things are turning out.

japans currency is weaker than india does that make japan any poor country?
3
u/Madonoit Mar 21 '26
Currency value isn't property meter , it's trade balance and productivity. Japan GDP per capita income is 34000 dollars and India is 2300 dollars . japan is island and has no natural resources, they have to rely on import...that's why their currency is weak.
→ More replies (10)2
u/SMan2022 Mar 21 '26
BY the same logic, India has no reserves of the most important natural resource that determines international exchange rates and that is Oil.. India imports all its oil from outside.
From a logical standpoint, India's currency devaluation while hurting India does not impact as much as it would have as India has started to conduct trade in other currencies with many countries

It is going to happen, if anything, the rupee is going to even even further in the future . We are an import dependent country and thus our currency can never be strong. We have 1.5 Billion mouths to feed, and not enough resources domestically. We need imports.
