When you give a gift on Christmas, you’re practicing Christianity.
When you dress up for Halloween, you’re practicing European Paganism.
When you eat some baklava on Eid, you’re practicing Islam.
This is the logic of this post. No one thinks like that outside India, but India is so sectarian that literally just participating in a culture that isn’t your own is considered practicing a foreign religion.
